Abstract
Ten artemisinin derivatives containing a piperazine at C-10 linked with ether or ester were designed and synthesized. All the derivatives have improved antiproliferative activity against cancer cell lines, including multidrug resistance (MDR) phenotypes. Compounds linked with ether are more effective than compounds linked with ester.
