摘要
癌症是全球发病率和死亡率的第二大原因。虽然化疗和放疗提高了癌症患者的生存率,但它们有几种急性毒性作用。因此,需要寻找具有更好功效和更小副作用的新抗癌剂。在这方面,发现草药治疗是治疗和预防癌症的安全方法。在这里,已经尝试筛选一些较少探索的药用植物,如Ammania baccifera,Asclepias curassavica,Azadarichta indica,Butea monosperma,Croton tiglium,Hedera nepalensis,Jatropha curcas,Momordica charantia,Moringa oleifera,Psidium guajava等具有强效抗癌药物。细胞毒性值最小(IC50>3μM),毒性较小或可忽略不计的活性。它们富含活性植物化学物质,具有广泛的药物靶标。在该研究中,通过体外MTT测定和体内肿瘤模型以及一些据报道具有0.019-0.528mg / ml范围内IC50值的植物评估这些药用植物的剂量依赖性细胞毒学研究。该发现表明这些植物通过其抗增殖,促凋亡,抗转移和抗血管生成分子靶标来抑制肿瘤生长。它们被广泛使用,因为它们易于获得,价格合理且没有或有时副作用很小。本综述为从药用植物中发现抗癌药物提供了基线,这些药物具有最小的细胞毒性值,副作用最小,并为人类福祉建立了类似物。
