癌症是最重要的疾病之一,与高死亡率和高昂的患者治疗费用有关。尽管付出了许多努力,但仍需要寻找,设计和开发用于治疗癌症患者的新治疗平台。在各种癌症的治疗中,微生物特别是细菌的利用已成为新的治疗方法。越来越多的数据表明,细菌可用于生产多种抗癌药,包括细菌素,抗生素,肽,酶和毒素。在这些抗癌药中,细菌素具有吸引人的特性,使其成为强大的抗癌药。多行证据表明,几种细菌素(即结肠素,乳链菌肽,乳酸菌素,pediocins,pyocins和bovocins)通过激活/抑制不同的细胞和分子信号通路可以在各个阶段抑制肿瘤的生长。因此,鉴定和使用各种细菌素可导致改善并将其引入临床实践。在这里,我们总结了各种细菌素,可以将其用作治疗多种癌症的抗癌药。
