Abstract: A series of Andrographolide derivatives were described and evaluated for their in vitro anti-HIV activity. Compound 11 and 21 showed significant anti-HIV-1 activity in C8166 cells. Since compound 11 had no cytotoxicity, it was expected to be new lead for further development of anti-AIDS agents.
