摘要

神经精神疾病一直神秘莫测,迄今为止尚无有效的治疗方法。精神疾病的复杂性和异质性对于新型治疗方法的发展是令人望而生畏的。传统的治疗方法效果较差,并伴有多种副作用,因此需要开发更多创新的策略。由于已知精神疾病具有遗传联系,因此基因治疗引起了全世界研究人员的兴趣。核酸的递送是一个复杂的过程,需要遗传物质跨各种细胞内和细胞外屏障的转运才能到达引发转染过程的靶细胞。因此,用于核酸递送的递送系统的鉴定或开发仍然是挑战。病毒载体非常有效,但是与毒性和副作用有关。随着纳米技术领域的快速发展,纳米材料被确定为基因递送中非病毒载体的理想候选者。纳米颗粒的最大优点是可以采用多种可能的方式对其表面进行工程设计,以将药物直接递送至目标部位。尽管基因疗法已经被确立为几种神经系统疾病的一种创新治疗方式,但其在精神病学中的应用仍需要对其转化为临床用途进行更多的研究。本手稿讨论了精神疾病中基因治疗的前景,其益处和陷阱。综述着眼于基于纳米粒子的基因治疗对精神疾病的有效管理的重要性。
