Abstract
Heterocyclic compounds are of great interest today for scientists and
chemists because of their various pharmaceutical applications. They have an
exceptional ability to present both biomimetic and active pharmacophores, which
makes them versatile pharmacophores for numerous drugs. Azepines are among the
nitrogen-containing heterocyclic moieties with boundless medicinal and biological
applications. This chapter is mainly focused on the synthesis and isolation of a variety
of azepine based heterocyclic compounds with their anti-inflammatory activities.
