Abstract

Journalists all across the world regularly violate journalistic ethics, which has a detrimental effect on societal peace and order. Due to unrestricted and independent media, there is a serious problem with journalists misreporting, making up news, inventing facts, and revealing improper material. The frequency, probable causes, and effects of this situation are all covered in detail in this chapter, along with international instances of poor journalism. There are also some recommendations in this chapter for addressing this problem at the individual and organizational levels.
