Abstract
This chapter summarises the possible future of IVF in terms of new
technologies and perhaps even a new mindset. IVF is in need of new technology and a
renewed mind-set to improve the service provided to patients and also to increase the
overall live-birth success rate which has not really improved since 1978. Some of the
ideas presented may be a reality shortly, others may take some time and others have no
real part to play in the future of IVF but are part of current debate.
