Abstract

The authors declare after the publication of the article entitled “Diagnosis of Benign and Malignant BI-RADS 4 Breast Masses by Contrast-enhanced Ultrasound Combined with Shear Wave Elastography”, published in Current Medical Imaging, 2024, 20, e15734056257195 [1], that following change in the text.

Originals: 1. All CEUS examinations were performed using a Toshiba Aplio500 ultrasound machine and a 9MHz pulse inversion harmonic L9-3 linear array probe.

2. Aixplorer ultrasonic diagnostic instrument manufactured by SuperSonic Imagine company was applied with a probe frequency of 4–15 MHZ. Q-BOXTM analysis software of the instrument was used to determine Young's modulus of breast masses, and the measurement range of Young's modulus was 0–180 kPa (set by the instrument automatically).

Corrected: 1. All CEUS examinations were performed using a Philips EPIQ5 ultrasound machine and a 9MHz pulse inversion harmonic L4-18 linear array probe.

2. Aixplorer ultrasonic diagnostic instrument manufactured by Philips company was applied with a probe frequency of 18 MHZ. Q-BOXTM analysis software of the instrument was used to determine Young's modulus of breast masses, and the measurement range of Young's modulus was 0–180 kPa (set by the instrument automatically).
