Abstract
This is a patient´s journey after a diagnosis of rare cancer in the
US and multiple treatments in Europe who became active in the cancer support
community, communicating and networking with each other, patient to patient,
provider to provider, and provider to patient. In addition of being active in their patient
networks, this is a prime example of how patients can contribute to the scientific
community by actively participating in social networks and global scientific
conferences.
