Abstract
Throughout this chapter, we will study Holotropic therapy that is a way to
produce an altered state of consciousness without drugs. This is done with
hyperventilation by making an individual deeply and rapidly breathe for several
minutes, and it is also accompanied by music and some verbal guidance from the
person who leads the session. This technique allows the individual to explore his or her
inner world and perform an auto exploration that serves as psychotherapy helpful for
several mental conditions.
