Abstract
An overview on the progress in the organophosphorus hydrolase based electrochemical sensors design and application for direct organophosphorus pesticides quantification is presented in this work. The key analytical performances of the enzyme and of the bacterial potentiometric and amperometric organophosphorus hydrolase based sensors, as well as their advantages and deficiencies are commented in detail.
Keywords: Electrochemical biosensors, organophosphorus hydrolase, organophosphorus pesticides.
