Abstract
Marine Cyanobacteria have raised growing attention as sources of bioactive “secondary metabolites” that originate from mixed biosynthetic pathways. Some of these molecules exhibit antitumour activities with unique mechanism of action. This mini-review focuses specifically on new molecules that may act as leads for novel drug development.
