Abstract
The present review discusses the synthetic strategies of new ligands exhibiting mainly 5-HT1A binding affinities. Specifically we focused our attention in the synthesis of compounds structurally related to arylpiperazine, 2-aminotetralin, and benzopyran derivatives.
