Abstract
COVID-19 is a disease whose pathological agent corresponds to the recent
mutation of the coronavirus, called SARS-CoV-2. Since March 2020, when the
pandemic was declared, many efforts have been made to contain the spread of the
disease. Since then, there has been a global mobilization in favor not only of fighting
the disease, but also of providing medical care, monitoring and treatment of other
diseases, due to the need for social isolation and consequent physical distance. Digital
Health - represented by the resources used to produce and make available reliable
information about the health status of patients - has been providing assistance to
whoever, where and when necessary, through E-health and telemedicine. In order to
understand a little about the telemedicine actions developed during this period, a
systematic mapping was carried out. The choice of PubMed was made due to citations,
mainly in the areas of biomedicine and health. 400 initial articles were analyzed. This
chapter aims to present an overview of the world panorama of E-health, m-Health and
telemedicine applications, adhered to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), during
COVID-19, based on the results of the mapping.
