Abstract

iziphus genus, as traditional medicine, plays a major role in treating many different diseases, such as pain, fever, diabetes, inflammation, and GIT disorders. Ziziphus is widely found in tropical regions. In humans, Ziziphus species are generally safe, as well as non-toxic. Ziziphus nummularia is native to Western India’s Thar Desert, South-Eastern Pakistan, as well as the Southern Iran region. The plant has tremendous medicinal potential. It is also used in traditional as well as folklore systems of medicine.
