摘要
帕金森病 (PD) 是全球最常见的神经系统疾病之一,并且在全球老年人口中迅速增加。帕金森病的病因尚不清楚,但已经确定了导致帕金森病发病机制的许多遗传和环境因素。 PD 的标志包括由于中脑黑质中的多巴胺能神经逐渐丧失而导致的多巴胺缺乏(神经递质失衡)。研究相关基因的突变对于了解 PD 的基本分子和致病变化特别有用。由于基因突变导致细胞内错误折叠或降解蛋白质的积累,导致线粒体功能障碍、氧化应激,随后出现多方面的病理生理症状。其他研究包括运动和非运动反应的出现,如静止性震颤、肌肉僵硬、缓慢运动和焦虑、贫血、便秘、快速眼动睡眠行为障碍。许多具有生物活性的天然化合物在治疗多种广泛的 PD 疾病模型中显示出积极的药理结果。尽管世界各地有最终数量的有效药用植物,但与包括 PD 在内的各种神经系统疾病相关的研究有限。目前可用的基于多巴胺的药物治疗有几个副作用,此外,还不足以完全对抗 PD。因此,各种具有药用价值的植物性化合物已引起研究人员的广泛关注,以应对各种威胁生命的神经退行性疾病,如 PD。根据迄今为止可用的文献,在这里,我们讨论并解决了使用来自天然来源/药用的各种关键生物活性化合物的分子基础、当前情景和未来可能的最佳治疗 PD,且副作用最小或无副作用植物。
