姜黄素是从姜黄的根茎(姜黄)中分离出来的天然多酚。这种药用化合物具有不同的生物活性,包括抗氧化剂,抗菌,抗肿瘤药和抗炎药。它还对神经退行性疾病,肾脏疾病和糖尿病具有治疗作用。姜黄素在高浓度下安全且耐受性好,不会引起毒性。姜黄素似乎能够靶向Nrf2信号通路,从而保护细胞免受氧化损伤。此外,该策略在癌症治疗中是有利的。越来越多的数据表明,姜黄素可采用四种不同的方式刺激Nrf2信号通路,包括抑制Keap1,影响Nrf2的上游介体,影响Nrf2和靶基因的表达,以及最终改善Nrf2的核转运。在当前的审查中,姜黄素对Nrf2信号通路发挥其治疗和生物活性的影响进行了讨论。
