Abstract
Brassinin and cyclobrassinin are phytoalexins produced by plants of the family Brassicaceae. An overview of the chemistry of these phytoalexins, metabolism, biological activity and applications of current knowledge that could contribute to the sustainability of crucifer crop production is provided.
