Abstract
A series of novel 6-fluoro1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-3-quinoline carboxylic acid dimers (34-37), were synthesized as potential antibacterial agents from commercially available fluoro benzoic acids.
Keywords: 2,3,4,5-Tetraflurobenzoic acid, 2,4,5-Trifluoroacetophenone, anti bacterial agents, regiospecific dimeric cyclisation, STERMOL length, quinoline carboxylic acid dimers, cyclopropyl, ciprofloxacin., methylene, ofloxacin
