Abstract: The isolation, structural characterization and cytotoxic properties of three new (1-3) and three known (4-6) gracilins, obtained from the sponge Spongionella pulchella is described. Gracilin B (4) exhibited selective, broad spectrum inhibition of integrin-mediated cell adhesion to a variety of physiological substrates.
