Abstract
The authors personal account summarizes results of the study of optically active cyclopalladated compounds (CPCs) during the last 25 years. The review describes a vast collection of structurally and stereochemically different types of CPCs, new routes to them, analysis of chirality transfer and some examples of their application.
Keywords: Palladacycles, chirality, asymmetric cyclopalladation, chirality transfer, enantiomeric purity, cyclopalladated compounds (CPCs), endo-palladacycles, Axial Chirality, Planar Chirality, Racemic Palladacycles, Enantioselective Cyclopalladation, Prochiral Ligands, Enantiomer Separation, phosphapalladacycles

Catalytic C-H bond activation as a tool for functionalization of heterocycles
The major topic is the functionalization of heterocycles through catalyzed C-H bond activation. The strategies based on C-H activation not only provide straightforward formation of C-C or C-X bonds but, more importantly, allow for the avoidance of pre-functionalization of one or two of the cross-coupling partners. The beneficial impact of ...read more
