Alefacept is an immunobiologic agent that has been recently introduced in the treatment of plaque psoriasis. The author presents a brief review of the drug, its efficacy and safety profile. Recent case reports of the use of alefacept in conjunction with other conditions as well as the drugs possible use for treatment of other conditions are reviewed as
