Publishes original research articles, letters, case reports, reviews/mini-reviews and guest edited thematic issues on the topics related to Material Science.
The Material Science section of the Current Indian Science globally publicises original and scientific manuscripts based on several aspects of research in the field of materials science. This section aims to publish peer-reviewed, high-quality, original papers in the field of materials science. It has a broad scope and covers articles in all areas of the field. It includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:

· Green and renewable materials for wider applicability.
· Magnetic, electrical, thermal, and optical properties of materials.
· Material synthesis, fabrication, manufacturing, and processing.
· Materials in specialist applications, such as medicine, energy, aerospace, etc.

· Thin films synthesis and uses.
Deepak Pathania is Professor Cum Head Cum Dean of the Central University of Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Presently, he is also serving as founder President of Him Science Congress Association, Himachal Pradesh, India. He is also working as conveners of different committees and a member of different professional scientific societies. He is a member of Academic Council and Board of Studies of different Universities and also served as President of Jammu Central University Shikshak Sangh affiliated to Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh. He joined as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Applied Sciences at the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Phagwara, Punjab in 2005. He has guided 15 Ph.D and 14 M.Phil and 37 M.Sc research projects for their respective degrees. He had about 147 publications in reputed Journals and 140 publications in conferences to his credit has published 18 book chapters. Dr. Pathania has filled ten national patents. His research h-index is 41 and i10-index is 80. He. His area of research includes polymer based composites, nanocomposite ion exchangers, fiber reinforced composite, environmental chemistry, metal sensors, photocatalysis degradation of organic and inorganic pollutants etc.
Prof. Ashis Bhattacharjee is a Professor of Physics at Visva-Bharati University, India. He obtained B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from North Bengal University, India. He carried out research works at IACS, Kolkata for Ph.D. in Science degree. He received various post-doctoral research fellowships abroad (JSPS-BRIDGE Fellow, JSPS Fellow, Center of Excellence Researcher, Science and Technology Agency Fellow of Japan, Research Associate of University of Mainz, Germany). He was a visiting professor at Hahn-Meitner-Institute (Berlin), Osaka University (Japan) and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (Kolkata). His research interests are in the field of experimental condensed matter physics (e.g., molecular magnetism, spin transition, Mössbauer spectroscopy, calorimetry, nanomaterials).
Dr. Brahmananda Chakraborty is a scientist in the High Pressure & Synchrotron Radiation Physics Division of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai and Associate Professor in Homi Bhabha National institute. His current research interest includes Density Functional Theory (DFT) & Molecular Dynamics (MD) simulations of materials for energy materials, bio-Sensors, nanomaterials and behavior of materials under high pressure. Dr. Chakraborty got his Ph.D degree from IIT, Bombay for his research topic on 'Irradiation Effects and Hydrogen Storage on Carbon Nanotubes'. He did two years' Post-doctoral research in North Carolina State University, USA. He received the International Association of Advanced Material (IAAM) Scientist Medal in 2017. He has published more than 125 papers in reputed international journals. He has very good experience of teaching while teaching Density Functional Theory at North Carolina State University, USA and Computational Physics at Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai. Dr. Chakraborty is also a regular reviewer in reputed international journals like Journal of Physical Chemistry, CARBON, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics etc.
Dr. Tushar Kanti Das completed his B. Sc. degree in Chemistry (Hons.) from Narasinha Dutt College, under the University of Calcutta in 2011. Then, he received his B.Tech. degree in Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Calcutta in 2014. After that, he obtained his M.Tech. degree from Rubber Technology Center, Indian Institute of Technology; Kharagpur in 2016. During his M.Tech., he worked in the Department of Nanostructured Materials at Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden e.V. Germany as a Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) fellow under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Manfred Stamm on a project entitled “Nanostructured Graphene Membranes for Catalytic and Environmental Remediation”. He completed his PhD degree under the supervision of Dr. Narayan Chandra Das at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India on thesis entitled “Fabrication of Heterogeneous Polymer Nanocomposites for Catalytic Applications”. His research interests include synthesis of polymer stabilized catalytic nanoparticles, heterogeneous catalysis, fabrication of catalytic membranes, preparation of polymer nanocomposites, rubber compounding, and conductive rubber composites. He published 35 papers and 2 book chapters with Google scholar citations over 950 (H-index: 19, i10-index: 25).
Dr. S. Devaraju obtained his B.Sc. in chemistry from Bharathidasan University (2002), M.Sc. chemistry (2005) and M.Phil. (2006) from University of Madras and Ph.D. from Anna University (2012). He did his postdoc research from Pusan National University, South Korea. In 2017, he joined as Assistant Professor in Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (Deemed to be University), Andhra Pradesh, India. Currently he is working as Associate Professor. His research work in the area of polymer composites/nanocomposites using renewable/non-renewable raw-materials, conducting materials (CNT, graphene, AgNWs dispersion) for TCFs, and sensor applications. He has published 48 articles, 2 patents, and 8 book chapters.
Dr. P. Devendran is presently working as Assistant Professor in the department of physics at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Krishnankoil-626126, India. He completed his bachelor and master degrees in Physics Specialization in electronics science at Bharathidasan University Trichy in the years 2007 and 2009. He received his doctoral (PhD) degree in Physics from the University of Madras in 2016 in the field of nanomaterials for environmental applications. From Oct-2015 to July-2017, he completed his post doctoral research experience in Kalasalingam Deemed University in the field of Nanomaterials for energy storage applications. He has more than 43 publications in different reputed (SCI) journals. Moreover, he has published 2 book chapters and more than 25 articles in conference proceedings. He is currently involved in discovering low cost, compactable and solid state electrolytes for high end energy storage devices with environment safety.
Dr. Vikas Dubey obtained his Master's degree in Physics from the Govt. V.Y.T.PG. Auto. College Durg, India. He received gold medals for securing first rank in his Master's degree. He completed his PhD from National Institute of Technology Raipur. He is currently working as Associate Professor & Head and Dean of Research & Development in the department of Physics Bhilai Institute of Technology Raipur, India. During the last ten years of his research career, he has published more than 175 research papers in various reputed international journals, with more than 1800 citations. He has published 6 authored books and 10 edited books and several book chapters. He got 07 patent grants and 8 patents published. He is also editor of various reputed journals and edited numerous special issues.
Vineet Kumar is currently working as Associate Professor (Biotechnology) in the School of Bioengineering and Biosciences, LPU, Jalandhar, Punjab, India. His areas of interest include natural plant product based green synthesis of nanoparticles, nanotoxicity testing of nanoparticles and application of nanoparticles in drug delivery, food technology, sensing, dye degradation and catalysis. He has published many articles in these areas featuring in peer-reviewed reputed journals. He is also serving as editorial board member and reviewer for many international peer reviewed journals. He has received various awards like senior research fellowship, best poster award and postdoctoral fellowship etc. He has published four books for CRC, Taylor & Francis Group, three books for Elsevier and five books for Springer.
Prof. Ajay Kumar Mishra (MSc, MPhil, PhD, CSci, FRSC) is working as Professor at Department of Chemistry, Durban University of Technology, Durban, South Africa. KIIT University, India. He is also working as Director of the Academy of Nanotechnology and Waste Water Innovations (ANWWI) and Visiting Professor at Robert Gordon University, UK, Bashir State University, Russia and also as Adjunct Professor at Hebei University of Science and Technology and Jiangsu University, China. Prof. Mishra worked as Professor at the University of South Africa and Associate Professor & Senior Lecturer at University of Johannesburg in the area of nanotechnology & waste water research. Prof. Mishra has edited several books and also serves as member advisory board of a number of international scientific societies, conferences and workshops. He also served as Associate Editor as well as member of the editorial board of many peer-reviewed international journals. He has delivered a number of lectures including Plenary/Keynote/Invited. For his outstanding research profile, he has received a number of international awards including Top 2% most cited scientist in the world, Chancellor prize & many more. He is an editor and editorial board member of many peer reviewed journals and scientific societies, conferences/workshops.
Dr. Shivaraj Maidur completed Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi, India. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, HKBK College of Engineering, Bengaluru (Affiliated to VTU). His core research areas are Materials Science, Nonlinear optics and DFT. Till date, he has published 42 research articles in SCI-indexed international journals and several conference proceedings. He is a Reviewer for Elsevier, Springer, and T&F journals. He has received ~900 citations, 24 - i10 index and 18 - h-index.
Dr. V. Muthuraj received his B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry in 1997 from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai. He received his M.Sc. Degree (1999) Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli and Ph.D. degree (2012) in Chemistry from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. He is currently an Assistant professor at the Department of Chemical VHNSN College (AUTONOMOUS) affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. His current research interests include Organic compounds extraction from marine sponge and its activity through cancer cells. Moreover, he is actively involved in the research of nanomaterial synthesis for Photo and Electrcatalysis for detection and degradation of organic pollutants. He has published research articles in SCI journals.
Dr. Aniruddha Balkrishna Patil is presently working as Assistant Professor at the Maharshi Dayanand College Parel, University of Mumbai-India. He did his PhD from Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT-Mumbai) in 2015 and Post Doctorate from Xiamen University, China in 2019. His area of specialization is synthesis and re/engineering of advanced materials for biosensors and catalysis. He was selected by RWTH, Aachen University, Germany to conduct six months' research work as a visiting researcher. Till now he has published 40 international research papers in internationally reputed journals, such as Advanced Materials, Nano-Micro Letters, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Small, Journal of Material Chemistry A, ACS applied materials and Interfaces, Biomacromolecules. In addition, he is the first inventor of 5 Indian and 4 Chinese patents (6 granted). He is the author of 5 international book chapters.
Dr. Dibya Prakash Rai is currently working as an assistant professor in the department of Physics, Pachhunga University College Campus (constituent of Mizoram University). He completed his PhD degree from Mizoram University (2013) and Post doctorate from Computational Science Research Centre (CSRC), Beijing China (2014). Dr. Rai is a dynamic researcher, he has published more than 200 papers in national/international peer reviewed journals (Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, RSC, ACS, etc.). He has been a reviewer in many articles from numerous journals from reputed publishers like Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis, RSC, ACS, AIP, IOP, etc. He has received 4 major projects from DST-India and UGC-India worth around 75 lakhs (95,000 USD), in which 3 has been completed and one is ongoing. Out of the four projects two are international major projects in collaboration with the scientists from Institute of Microelectronics Technology High Purity Materials Russian Academy of Sciences Moscow and National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Uzbekistan. Dr. Rai is one of the founders in establishing Physical Sciences Research Center (PSRC) , a first research lab for Physical Sciences in Pachhunga University College. Dr. Rai has expertise in Density Functional Theory (DFT) and he can efficiently use some of the DFT-based computational codes like WIEN2K, SIESTA, CRYSTAL17, VASP, Quantum Espresso, SPR-KKR, FPLO etc. Currently, he is supervising 5 PhD scholars working with DFT in analyzing and predicting different functional properties of computationally efficient materials. He is the editorial board member of Current Chinese Nanotechnology (Bentham Science) and associate editor of SENHRI, a multi-disciplinary journal of Pachhunga University College, India. Recently, he served as the guest editor of two edited books "Advanced Materials and Nano systems: Theory and Experiment" Part 1 & 2 (Bentham books).
Prof. Benjaram Mahipal Reddy did his PhD (1986) at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, where he held a Chief Scientist and Head of Inorganic & Physical Chemistry Division position. At present, he is with BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus as Senior Professor Emeritus. He has been a visiting scientist or an award fellow at various institutes and universities in the USA, Russia, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Switzerland. So far, he has guided 40 PhD theses and a good number of bachelor and master students for their degrees. He has more than 300 research publications (h-index 71) in high impact journals and holds 8 patents to his credit. He is an elected fellow of the National Academy of Sciences India, Indian National Academy of Engineering, and Royal Society of Chemistry. He has been serving as an editorial board member or a guest editor for a good number of high impact journals.
Dr. Pijus Kanti Samanta, did M.Sc.(Physics) and Ph.D. (Nanotechnology) from IIT-Kharagpur, India. His primary research interests are semiconductor nanostructures for optoelectronic application. He is also the editorial board member and reviewer of various internationally reputed journals in the fields of materials science, nanotechnology and biophysics. He was an affiliate member of IUPAC, USA (2012-2013).
Dr. Singh did his BSc from Allahabad University India and MSc and PhD in Biochemistry from Lucknow University, India. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak Madhya Pradesh, India. He has previously worked as a scientist at various esteemed laboratories globally, namely Sogang University, IGR Paris, etc. His work and research interests include biochemistry, biosensors, nanobiotechnology, electrochemistry, material sciences, and biosensors applications in biomedical, environmental, agricultural, and forensics. He has to his credit several reputed national and international honors/awards. Dr. Singh has authored over 55 articles in international peer-reviewed journals, more than 30 book chapters of international repute, and has edited 9 books. He is a reviewer of many reputed international journals and a member of many international societies. He is also currently involved in editing various books, which will be published in internationally reputed publication houses, namely IOP Publishing, CRC Press, Elsevier, and Springer Nature. Moreover, he is a book series editor of "Emerging advances in Bionanotechnology," CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group. He is also actively involved in guest-editing special issues (SI) for reputed international journals, and one of the latest edited SI by Dr. Singh is "Smart and Intelligent Nanobiosensors: Multidimensional applications" for Materials Letters, Elsevier.
Dr. Anoop K. Srivastava is Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Science, Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University. Currently, he is also serving as a Head of the Department. He received Ph.D. in Physics from University of Allahabad in 2005. From Aug. 2006 to Sep. 2009, He worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at Chonbuk National University, South Korea. He received the Young Scientist Award from the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. His research involves TFT-LCD evaluation and analysis technology, flexible display, transflective & E-Paper research and dielectric/electrical/optical characterizations of various type of materials
Dr. Sundriyal earned his PhD in Aug. 2019 from Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research (CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh Laboratory), India. He has a post-PhD experience of nearly 3 years. His scientific recognitions include the various international travel grants from DST, CSIR, Japan government, RAKCAM UAE, and RSC Grant for Young Scientists. He also got Associate Membership of RSC, CSIR-NPDF, CSIR-Pool Scientist Grant, Prestigious Green Talent 2021 outstanding young scientist award by Federal Ministry of Education & Research of Germany, Marie-Curie Cofunded PASIFIC Postdoctoral Fellowship of Poland, Marie-Curie (ERA) postdoctoral fellowship in 2022, prestigious Fulbright-Nehru postdoctoral fellowship in 2022 in United States.
Dr.M.Swaminathan, is currently a visiting Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, Tamilnadu. He received his M.Sc degree from Annamalai University and Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He has 40 years of teaching and research experience. His active research interests include fabrication of solar active photocatalysts, biodegradation, environmental remediation and spectrofluorimetry. He guided 20 Ph.Ds and published 257 papers and several book chapters. His research citations in Scopus are around 8700 with h index of 49 and Google scholar citations- 14000, i10 index -197. He is ranked in the World Ranking of top 2% Scientist (2020) published by Stanford University. He is a Fellow of Royal Society of chemistry and received Tamilnadu Scientist award (TANSA) in 2008, CRSI bronze medal award,2012, silver medal award in 2005 from ISCAS, Jammu. He served as the lead guest editor and editor for three special issues of "International journal of photoenergy".
Dr. V Dhinakaran is an experienced Professor with a demonstrated history of working in higher education, Director at Centre for Additive Manufacturing in the Chennai Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. Currently, he is working as Dean (Research & Development). He has expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Additive Manufacturing, Composites, Welding, Machine Learning and various other fields. Dr. V. Dhinakaran has delivered more than 35 lectures in various Engineering colleges in order to enhance the knowledge of Faculty members, Researchers and Student community. He has published more than 170 research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Madhuri W is presently working as Associate Professor in the faculty of Physics, Centre for Functional Materials, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, TN, India. She is a seasoned researcher in the field of Materials Science since 2003. She has worked in the field of ceramics and its composites for the past two decades for various functional applications in electronic industry, electromagnetic interference shielding, energy storage and harvesting, solid electrolytes etc. She has specialized in hybrid microwave assisted electro-ceramic synthesis. She has authored and published more than 70 articles in peer reviewed international journals, and two book chapters. She has guided students for their doctoral thesis and masters’ thesis.
Dr.Murthy Chavali, Professor of Analytical Chemistry and Nanotechnology is presently working as Dean (Research) & Professor (Chemistry) at the Alliance University, Bengaluru, India. He is the Director (NTRC‐ MCETRC, India) and International Nanotech Research Consultant. He received B.Sc., in Chemistry (1990, ANU, India); M.Sc. (Tech.) in Chemistry (1994, JNTUH, India), and his Ph.D. Tech., in Analytical Chemistry (2000, TUWIEN, Austria) and served as Post-Doctoral Fellow in USA, Japan (as JSPS and VBL Fellow), and Taiwan (NSC Fellow). Professor Chavali has over 29 years of research experience and 23 years of teaching experience and has established 9 research laboratories. He is a recipient of several research felicitations/awards/ fellowships, commendations both nationally and internationally and has been invited to several countries to speak on his groups' research activities. He is also a Visiting Professor/Researcher/Scientist/Fellow to 12 universities/Institutes abroad. Dr.Murthy Chavali has published over 310 articles/communiqués in various international and national journals of high repute with high impact factors related and presented his work in over 200 international and national seminars/symposia/ conferences/workshops. He made a team contribution towards 12 patents and is responsible for over 150 technical reports and 90 books/book chapters. His research interests are optical waveguide technology, IR sensors, LIF, chip-based chemical and biochemical sensors (µ η), development and application of spectroscopic techniques for the study of nanomaterials. He also focuses on the synthesis and fabrication of various organic, inorganic nanostructured materials, composites and nanosensor array technology, broadly, nanotechnology applications for gas and liquid sensors and nanobionics (plant, fungal, microbial), nanoinnovations, nanoforensics, biodiesels, biofuels, biohydrogen, marine enzymes, algae biomass, fuel cells, biofuel cells, microbial fuel cells, bioeconomy, sustainability, gasification, algae‐based solid waste management, algal nanotechnology, sustainability science and engineering, nanocellulose, and diatoms.
Dr. Samson Jerold Samuel Chelladurai working as Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET), Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He received a Gold Medal and secured University First Rank in post-graduation. He obtained a Ph.D. in Composite Materials in 2018. He specialized in manufacturing engineering. He has published many research articles in journals and served as editor for special issues in international journals. He has also published five books, five patents, and received grants worth $89,000 USD. He has received several awards from SKCET and other organizations and societies.
Dr. D.K. Dwivedi is currently a Professor in the Department of Physics and Material Science and Dean of Faculty Affairs, Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur. He obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from D.D.U. Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. He started his career as Scientific Officer in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai in 2001. He has served as Lecturer in Physics, D.D.U. Gorakhpur University for nearly 8 years. He joined as a reader in Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur in 2009. He to his credit has 178 publications in international Journals and Conferences. He has authored four books and one book is in press. Dr. Dwivedi has supervised 10 Doctoral theses and 6 are in progress. He has been awarded two major research projects. He has organized four national level conferences. His area of interest is amorphous semiconductors, nano structured materials, solar cell devices and fiber optic sensors.
Prof. S. Harikrishnan is a Professor and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Kings Engineering College, Chennai, India. He received his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras in 2002 and M.E. in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University in 2007 and 2015, respectively. He has organized four international conferences and delivered invited talks in many colleges in India. He has published 32 research articles in different journals of national and international repute. He guided two Ph.D. scholars successfully. His areas of research include phase change materials, nanofluids, and supercapacitors.
Dr. N.Kanagathara is a Professor in the Department of Physics. She received her B.Sc in 1995 from Government College for Women (affiliated to Bharathidasan University), Kumbakonam, Tanjore District. She got her M.Sc in 1997 from the Department of Physics, Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, Trichy (affiliated to Bharathidasan university). She finished her M.Phil., in 2001 from the Seethalakshmi Ramaswami College, Trichy (affiliated to Bharathidasan university) and Ph.D in 2014 from Presidency College, Triplicane (affiliated to University of Madras) Chennai. Her research work is mainly focused on synthesis and characterization of new organic, inorganic and semi-organic compounds for nonlinear optical applications, Theoretical evaluation by DFT analysis also forms a part of her work. She has 24 years of teaching experience and 10 years of research experience in the field of Crystallography, Crystal Growth, Density Functional Theory, Spectroscopy and Materials Science. She has published more than 60 papers in refereed international journals and presented more than 60 papers in the various national or international conferences. As an appreciation of her commendable work, she has received Best Paper award from SathybamaUniversity and Pachiyappa’s College, Chennai. Presently, she is a recognized supervisor of Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai. She has guided students in pursuing their Ph.Ds. She is a life member of Indian Association for Crystal Growth, Indian SpectroPhysics Association, and Indian Society for Technical Education. She is also an active reviewer for the many national and international reputed journals like Journal of Molecular Structure, Spectrochimica Acta, and Journal of Materials Science etc.
Professor Partha S Mallick, presently working as a Sr. Professor of Electronics Engineering. He served in the same university as the Dean of School of Electrical Engineering (2011-15). He worked as the Technical Head, IAAB Electronics, a Swedish Electronics Industry in Bangladesh (1992-96). Dr. Mallick led various research teams and developed "Online Lab ", "Monte Carlo Simulator ", "Nanostructured MIM Capacitor", "Low cost Electric Fencers" and published 126 research papers in reputed Journals and Conferences. Dr. Mallick received the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Fellowship for his PhD Research work. He is a Sr. member of IEEE, past Chapter Chair and present Chapter Adviser of IEEE-EDS VIT of Region 10 Asia pacific. He authored different books and book chapters published by IET (UK), Springer (Singapore) and Scitech (India). Dr. Mallick organized three major International Conferences - in 2014 at VIT India (jointly with KTH, Sweden), in 2018 at University of Cambridge, UK and in 2019, at Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI), USA. Dr. Mallick is a reviewer of IET, IEEE Transactions, Bentham Science, Elsevier and journals of other reputed publishers. At present, he is finding new materials and technology for future nanoscale electronics, Integrated circuits engineering and sensor technology.
Dr. SOUMEN SHAW is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Dinabandhu Andrews College (University of Calcutta), Kolkata, India. His expertise is in the development of Non Fourier thermoelastic models in local and nonlocal regions and its applications in various fields in engineering and sciences. In this regard, he developed data-driven and physics-based simulation models to study uncertainty quantification in a wide variety of problems ranging from non-Gaussian heat impact in human skin to nonlocal elastic materials with finite strain. The developed models use theories of continuum mechanics at various lengths and timescales. Dr. Shaw has used computational techniques such as the Discrete Fourier-Laplace inversion, FFT, Finite Element Method (structures) and improved Regulation Falsi Method to build research tools that leverage high-performance computing.
Dr. Anil Ramdas Bari has completed his PhD from Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. He is the Head of the Department of Physic, IQAC / NAAC Coordinator and NSS Programme Officer of Arts, Commerce and Science College, Bodwad. He has published 50 research papers in reputed journals and presented more than 80 research papers in seminars, conferences and workshops and over 100 on online mode. He attained more than 120 online webinars. He has been serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals. He has participated as an Organizing Committee Member in the Scientific Committee of various conferences and associations as well as served as a reviewer in a wide range of National and International Journals. His Scopus h-index is 12, Google Scholar h-index is 16 and Google Scholar i10- index is 21. He is an Academic Counsellor: Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. He is the Member of Advisory Committee of National Service Scheme of Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. He has been awarded with Platinum Medal and Leadership Certificate by Samabhand Foundation for noteworthy efforts in promoting the SPIT FREE INDIA MOVEMENT through NSS to prevent the spread of COVID19. Under his Leadership College is awarded One District One Green Champion Award by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
Dr. Aman Bhardwaj is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc) Chemistry, Hindu College, University of Delhi, India. He is a visiting professor in National University of Science and Technology (NUST) MISiS, Moscow, Russia. He is also an Editorial Board Member of Current Materials Science. He obtained his PhD from CSIR-National Physical Laboratory (NPL), New Delhi, India. Dr. Bhardwaj has done Postdoctoral research with two most prestigious postdoctoral fellowships including DST-SERB-National Postdoctoral Fellow (NPDF) and UGC- Dr. D. S. Kothari Postdoctoral (Higher Fellowship) from School of Physical Sciences (SPS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Delhi, India. He has over 27 research publications in SCI indexed journals along with two book chapters to his credit. He is a Fellow of Renewable Energy Society of India. His research focuses on synthesis of thermoelectric materials and devices, superconducting materials, carbon based nanomaterials for energy applications. He has received many national and international awards and contributed to more than 20 international and national conferences across the world.
Dr. Manisha Devi completed her M.Phil. from Himachal Pradesh University Shimla in 2010. She joined Indian Institute of Technology Mandi as a Ph.D. student and completed her Ph.D. in 2017. She received a prestigious National Postdoctoral Fellowship to continue research as a postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali since 2017. Presently, she is working to design and develop biosensors based on fluorescent molecules and liquid crystal aqueous interfaces. She has published 19 articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has also published 1 book chapter. Her research work has been featured as a cover image in an international journal.
Dr. MURALI NANDIGAM, M.Sc, Ph.D Obtained Ph.D. from Department of Physics, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is working as faculty at Andhra University College of Engineering (A), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He published many research articles around 62 in National and International journals. He also presented 30 research papers, attended 40 conferences, and 40 online Webinars. His research areas are Materials Science, Computational Physics and Condensed matter Physics. Dr. Sivasankar Koppala is an Associate Professor at Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) India. He worked as a Principal investigator at Panjin Institute of Industrial Technology, Dalian University of Technology, China and Post-Doctoral Researcher at Kunming University of Science and Technology, China. He obtained PhD degree from VIT University, India. He also worked as a visiting researcher at Jacobs University Bremen, Germany. Presently, he holds 40 peer-reviewed research articles. He is experienced in Materials Science & Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, Nano Science & Technology for the past 10 years.
Dr. Krishna Kumar obtained his PhD degree in Organic Polymer Chemistry from the Banaras Hindu University of India. He is currently Assistant Professor in Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. His research interests concern Material Chemistry; Polymer Chemistry; Microgel; Hydrogel; Polymer Enzymes Bioconjugates; Nanocomposites and degradation of hazardous materials in various environments. Prof. Kumar has published more than 50 journals & conference papers, currently writing 3 books & 11 book chapters in publication of national and international repute, and over 14 conference/FDP/Workshops presentations (including invited talk and speeches). His publications have been SCI-cited over 340 times with an h-index of 10 according to the ISI Web of Science.
Dr. Ravita Lamba is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur. She completed her Ph.D and M.Tech. from Centre for Energy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi under the supervision of Prof. S.C. Kaushik. She was a visiting researcher at the University of South Florida, FL, USA through BHAVAN internship provided by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and Indo US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) to work on radiative cooling systems for building space conditioning. Prior to MNIT, she worked as Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at National Institute of Technology Delhi and as Project Engineer in Solar Water Pumping Division at National Institute of Solar Energy (NISE), Gurugram, an autonomous institute of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. She is actively involved in the research fields including Solar Photovoltaic Systems, Solar Thermal Systems, Solar Thermoelectric Systems, and their various Hybrid Combinations for Power Generation and Space Conditioning, Modeling & Optimization of Energy Systems, Building Integrated Photovoltaic & Thermoelectric Systems and Radiative Cooling Systems. She has published more than 40 research papers in peer reviewed journals including 5 book chapters. She has presented her research work in international conferences and symposiums. Dr.P.Pardha Saradhi received UG, PG and Ph.D degrees from Acharya Nagarjuna University, A.P, India. He worked as lecturer in Hindu College, Machilipatnam from 2000-2012. He worked as Associate Professor in Sri Vasavi institute of engineering and technology, Nandamuru in 2012 to 2014. From 2014 till date, he is working as Professor, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Associate Dean R and D Publications, K.L. University, Vaddeswaram. He has published more than 93 articles (54 SCI + 39 Scopus) in international journals and conferences. He is a reviewer for several international journals including Elsevier and Taylor and Francis and served as Resource person, reviewer, session chair, co-chair and advisory committee member for a number of international conferences. He has to his credit four national patents and three International patents. Three Ph.Ds have been awarded under his guidance and 5 more are in the pipeline. His research interests include LC antennas, Image processing, LC nano composites and its applications. He received Excellence in research Award from Navodaya Research Academy, Puducherry in 2021 and Distinguished Scientist award from IJIEMR –Elsevier SSRN Research Awards-21. He is a life member of IACSIT, IAENG, UACEE and IIRJC.
Dr. Akhil Saxena is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Chandigarh University Mohali. Dr. N. Sivakumar has completed UG degree from Aringar Anna Govt. Arts College, Villupuram (Madras University) in the academic year 2004-2007. He received PG degree from Presidency College, University of Madras in 2009. He entered the field of crystal growth research in 2011 and has successfully completed Ph.D degree in 2015.He has 13 years of research experience and has published about 45 research papers in reputed Journals. He has presented his research outcome in many national and international conferences and attended many scientific events like seminars and workshops. His research publication reveals his expertise in growth of 2D single crystals. He has wide knowledge in growing crystals by many growth techniques like slow cooling, unidirectional growth and melt growth methods.At present, he is concentrating on developing materials for various applications including solar cells and laser devices. He has more than 10 years of experience in teaching as a Guest lecturer as well as Assistant Professor in Physics.He received the best thesis award in crystal growth by Indian Association for Crystal Growth in the year 2018, during the National Seminar on Crystal Growth held at Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu. He has completed Postdoctoral Research work during the year 2017-2020 awarded by University Grants Commission (Dr. S. Kothari Postdoctoral Fellow), Government of India. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Physics, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai.
Dr. Jagadeesh Sure received M.Sc in Materials Science from Andhra University in 2008. In 2014, he received a Ph.D. from Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI). After completion of his PhD, he moved to the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge, UK to pursue a Postdoctoral Associate assignment (2014–2018) to work on high-entropy materials and alloys. He worked at University of Nizwa, Oman as a Researcher (2018–2019) for the preparation of nanocarides. Later he worked as a full time Research Associate (2019–2019) at Brookhaven National Laboratory, New York, USA to work on Ni-based materials for molten salt breeder reactors. He is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, TN, India. He has worked in the field of Materials Science for the past one and half decade in the field of carbon materials, corrosion, coatings, nanomaterials and alloys for a wide range of applications. He has specialized in preparation of high-entropy alloys and titanium alloys for the structural and biomedical applications. He has authored and published more than 30 articles in peer reviewed international journals, five book chapters and various national important reports. He has received 'Best PhD Thesis Award' from NACE-NIGIS India in 2014 in the field of 'Corrosion'. He has received various national and internal travel awards and three times best presentation awards. He is also meticulously performing his duties in teaching and guiding UG, PG and PhD students.
