Wireless Communication
Publishes original research articles, letters, case reports, reviews/mini-reviews and guest edited thematic issues on various topics related to wireless communications.
The Wireless Communication section of the Current Indian Science publishes refereed articles dealing with original research, reviews, mathematical models, besides experience and management issues of wireless communications. It also investigates theoretical, engineering, and experimental aspects of radiocommunications, data, voice, images, and multimedia. It allows readers to benefit from experience, problems and solutions described. Regularly addressed issues include: physical layers’ issues for personal communication systems, wireless networks, signal processing techniques for wireless communications, artificial intelligence and RF engineering for communications, design and analysis of protocols, network management and network performance, network services, and service integration, nomadic computing, internets working with cable and other wireless communications, standardization and regulatory issues, specific system descriptions, applications, and user interface, and enabling technologies for wireless communications like 5G and B5G.
This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub-fields in the area. Submissions in the following areas are of special interest to the readers of this journal:

Javaid Ahmad Sheikh is a Doctorate in Electronics from University of Kashmir, Srinagar in the field of wireless Communications and RF Engineering. His expertise in the fields of Communications, RF and Signal Processing has been acknowledged by several originations in terms of publications of papers in top journals. He has supervised several doctoral students for the award of their Ph. D and M. Phil degrees. He is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and I. T University of Kashmir, Srinagar. Dr. Sheikh has guided more than 7 Hundred (100) technical projects having societal relevance. His field of interest is Wireless Communications, design and development of efficient Massive MIMO based 5G and 6G communication systems, Quantum Machine Learning for future networks, Efficient Antenna and filter design and signal processing for communication systems.
Dr. Vigneswaran Dhasarathan received his Ph. D in Information and communication Engineering and specific areas of research included optical communication, photonic network, wireless optical communication in the higher end of 5G network. He is also working with Space division multiplexing application for avoiding the cross-talk effects of dense network optical systems. In addition, he is also working in the field of photonics 2D materials, Photonics sensing, Nonlinear photonics, UWB antenna, Flexible antenna. He currently works as Assistant Professor at Kathir College of Engineering, Coimbatore and he is also a visiting researcher of Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam. He has published around 60 papers in well reputed journals including, IEEE, Nature, Springer, Wiley, SPIE, world scientific publisher, Taylor francis, IET, OSA. As a reviewer, he has reviewed more than 100 articles from various journals including IEEE, Nature and OSA. He has been declared as the fastest reviewer from Elsevier and springer.
Dr. Gokulnath C is currently working in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, India. He had completed his Ph.D. at the Vellore Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of engineering degree from Anna University and VIT University, respectively. His current research interests include Big Data Analytics, the Internet of Things, the Internet of Everything, and Machine Learning. He has published papers in various international journals and conferences including 26 papers in which 2 in IEEE Access, 1 in ACM Transactions, 3 in Elsevier Publication, and 9 in Springer Publications. He is a reviewer for Elsevier, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions, and Springer journal. He is a lifetime member of the International Society for Infectious Disease, the Computer Society of India, and a member of the Vellore Institute of Technology Alumni Association.
Dr. Taimoor Khan has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Silchar, India since 2014. Before joining this institute, he served at different organizations including Delhi Technological University, Delhi for around 15 years in different capacities like Lab Instructor, Lecturer, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. In addition to this regular experience, Dr. Khan has also worked as Visiting Researcher at Queen's University Canada and Royal Military College of Canada as well as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, AIT Bangkok, Thailand. His active research interest includes Printed Microwave Circuits, Electromagnetic Bandgap Structures, Ultrawideband Technology and Applications, Dielectric Resonator based Components, Ambient Microwave Energy Harvesting and Wireless Power Transfer, and Artificial Intelligence Paradigms in Electromagnetics.
Dr.S.Palanivel Rajan – is a certified PUBLONS Academy Mentor for Academy Practical Peer Review Training Course, from 2020. He completed the UGC Major Research Project and also completed one research project, funded by TNSCST, Chennai. Dr. Rajan is an Executive Editor and editorial board member and also a Reviewer, he completed more than 160 Journal Article Reviews, as per Publons, in many SCI/SCIE, WoS and SCOPUS Indexed Journals including "IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, IEEE Systems Journal, IEEE Access, IET Circuits, Devices & Systems and IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine". He received a number of awards such as the "Research Excellence Award 2020", from the Institute of Scholars (InSc). Received "Academic Excellence Award 2021", from the Technical Research Publications (TRP), Outstanding Reviewer Award from the Journal of Biomedical Informatics (ELSEVIER), 2017. He is the recipient of "Best Paper Awards" in a few conferences at some premier institutions. Authorized CHARTERED ENGINEER (INDIA) of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Division, by The Institution of Engineers (India). He has presented more than 55 Technical Papers in various International/National Conferences in both India and abroad, and published more than 40 Research Articles in various indexed and other refereed Journals. In addition, he has nine patents to his credit. Besides, he has published 7 books and book chapters. His H-index is 22 and i-10 index is 32 and SCOPUS H-index is 12. He is a LIFE member in ISTE, IE(I), IACSIT, ITE, IAAA, IAMI, TSI, BMESI, ISRD, INHS, IAENG, CoE, InSc and IETE. Research Interest includes Antennas, Bio-Signal Processing, Electrocardiography, Medical Imaging, Telemedicine, Wireless Networks and Wireless Communication.
