Prof. (Dr.) Md Saquib Hasnain is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, Palamau Institute of Pharmacy, Jharkhand, India. He has over 10 years of research experience in the field of drug delivery and pharmaceutical formulation analyses, especially systematic development and characterization of diverse nanostructured drug delivery systems, controlled release drug delivery systems, bioenhanced drug delivery systems, nanomaterials and nanocomposites employing Quality by Design approaches and many more. He has also participated and presented his research work at over ten conferences in India, and abroad. He was also the member of scientific societies i.e., Royal Society of Chemistry, Great Britain, International Association of Environmental and Analytical Chemistry, Switzerland and Swiss Chemical Society, Switzerland.
Dr. Akbar I Inamdar works as an Associate Professor in the Division of Physics and Semiconductor Science, Dongguk University, Seoul, Republic of Korea since 1st April 2009. His area of research is Electrochemistry, Electrocatalysis, Supercapacitors, Smart Supercapacitors, Lithium-Ion batteries (LIB) and solar cells. He has been awarded with the Dongguk University Gold Medal award for the successful career of 10 years in this university. He has published more than 100 research articles in prestigious international journals with an H-index of 37 and total citations of 3669. He attended several National and International conferences. He supervised two research students in their PhD degrees and several students in their master's degree. He is well experienced in raising independent research funds from Korean funding agencies, such as Korean Research Foundation (KRF) and successful utilization for the desired cause.
Dr. Sanjeeb Kalita works as a Scientist at DBT-APSCS&T CoE for Bioresource and Sustainable Development, Kimin, Arunachal Pradesh; pursuing multi-disciplinary research for translational development of phytopharmaceuticals by validating rich traditional knowledge of the tribal populace of North East India and Arunachal Pradesh in particular. He did Ph.D. from the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST, Guwahati, India. He started his research carrier, at VIT university, Vellore India working on development of phyto- drugs for various indication and then moved to IIT, Guwahati, India and worked on nanoparticulate drug delivery system for eradicating dermatophytic infections. His research contributions helped to develop 14 IPR applications, 35 research articles, and two of the patents have been approved recently. One of them (Garcilona, herbal nutraceutical candy comprising hydroxy citric acid) is already on the market. He also contributed towards the development of a germicidal mask for Covid-19, which has already reached the market. He also worked in a rich scientific environment and ecosystem of Bangalore Life Sciences Cluster which consists of the inStem, National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) and Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP). Presently, he is involved in exploration of natural source-based drug delivery vehicles for topical applications of therapeutics. He was also part of grant/proposal writing for national and international funding agencies headed by PIs of IASST, IFM, InStem and NCBS, Gauhati University, and DBT- APSCS&T.
Dr. Pramod Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, NIPER-Guwahati since August 2018. Dr. Pramod Kumar received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Pharmacy, School of Chemical Sciences and Pharmacy, Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, Rajasthan. India. Dr. Kumar did post-doctorate from Jamia Hamdard (Deemed to be University), New Delhi, India. Dr. Kumar has done B. Pharm and M. Pharm from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jaipur National University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Dr. Kumar has published various research papers based on reference material development and nanotechnology based product development. Various international and national conferences have been attended by Dr. Kumar. Dr. Kumar has visited Malaysia, Japan and the United Arab Emirates. Currently, Dr. Kumar is working on the development of reference materials via synthetic and herbal routes, and their QAQC
Dr. Anoop Kumar currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Research, Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research University (DPSRU), New Delhi, India. Earlier, he has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Raebareli. He has also worked as Associate Professor and Officiating Head in the Department of Pharmacology, ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga, Punjab. He has also worked in reputed pharmaceutical companies like Cipla Pharmaceutical Limited Baddi, H.P., and Sun Pharmaceutical Limited Gurugram. His research interests are drug repurposing using computational, in-vitro and in-vivo techniques, Meta-analysis, Signal analysis in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoeconomic studies.
Dr. Sandeep Kumar is Assistant Professor in Regulatory Affairs from NIPER-Hyderabad. He got diverse academic and industry experience of almost 9 years. He has completed M. Tech in Pharmaceutical Technology (Biotechnology), NIPER, Mohali, PhD in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from the Dept. of Biotechnology, National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. He did Ph.D and continued as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Biotechnology, NIT, Jalandhar for 3 years and then shifted to Analytical Research Department of an Industry TEVA API and served there for almost 4 years. His current research interest is Regulatory Affairs and Sciences, Targeted Drug Delivery Systems, Pharmaceutical API development.
Dr. Neeraj Mishra is working as Professor in Amity Institute of Pharmacy, Gwalior since July 2019. He has more than Nineteen years of teaching/industry/ research experience at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has around 100 publications of International and National repute about recent concepts of novel drug delivery systems, particularly in vaccine delivery and drug targeting and having total citation 2056; h- index 24 and i- index 30. He has also written 5 Books and 7 book chapters. He has also published 3 international and 3 national patents, out of which one international patent has been recently granted. Recently, he got a place in the World Scientist and University Rankings 2021 conducted by AD Scientific Index 2021. Recently, he also served as Guest Editor of Thematic issue entitled "Nanoparticulate Carriers for the Treatment of Infectious Diseases and Cancer", Current Molecular Pharmacology, Volume 14, 2021, Issue number 3, Bentham Sciences, USA, I.F. 3.2. He has also been an approved production chemist from LSSSDC under Skill India Scheme for the period of 2019-2021. He is recipient of "Distinguished Professor Award" 2019 from DST-NSTMIS, SPAICS, Indore, M.P in September 2019. Recently, he got the "Distinguished Professor Award" 2021 from Indian Pharmaceutical Association PA, MP Branch on 2nd October 2021 at Indore, M.P.
Dr. Mallika Pathak is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Miranda House, University of Delhi. She has a teaching experience of more than 17 years having taught chemistry at Miranda House, University of Delhi since 2004. She is a recipient of many awards like Most Promising Innovation in 2016 from University of Delhi; Teaching Excellence Award for Innovation in 2015 from University of Delhi; Best Innovative Idea in 2014 and Australian Leadership Award Fellow (ALAF) in 2013. Being a computational chemist by training she has many research papers in various peer reviewed international journals, authored two book chapters for Elsevier Publishing House and has filed a patent in 2017. She is passionate about promoting Active learning and working with students on Innovative projects and helping them build their career. Her research interests include Drug-molecular interactions, Nano-chemistry and its application to water purification etc. In addition to her academic and research engagements, she is very active in the extra-curricular life of college and has served as a member and faculty advisor of various committees and societies of college.
Prof. Umesh Patil has completed his B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Ph.D. from Dr. H.S. Gour University, Sagar (India) and Postdoctoral studies from Institute of Biology, Leiden University, The Netherlands. Presently, he is working as Professor of Pharmacognosy and serving as General Secretary to Indian Society of Pharmacognosy (ISP). He has also been serving as Board Member & Vice President of International Council for Medicinal Plant Research (ICMAP) and Regional Representative of ICMAP for SAARC countries. His area of specialization is Herbal Drug Technology and Natural Products. He has more than 22 years of experience in teaching and research. He is a recipient of 7 prestigious awards given in the field of HMPs and remained BOYSCAST fellow of DST, Govt of India. He is a member of many professional bodies including International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), International Society of Ethnopharmacology (ISE), International Society for Medicinal Plant Research (GA), Germany, International Pharmaceutical Students Federation, International Society of Natural Product Development, APTI, IPA, IPGA, ISTE, IASTAM, and IAHP. He has published 116 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as editorial board member of many reputed journals. Prof. Patil has done 28 foreign visits in different countries including Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, South Africa, Germany, France, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, USA, Australia etc. for academic and scientific assignments.
Professor Satyanarayan Pattnaik is a post-graduate in pharmaceutical sciences and earned his doctorate degree in Pharmacy from Berhampur University. He has teaching, research, and professional experience of more than two decades, Dr. Pattnaik is currently serving as a Professor in Pharmaceutics at Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy, Warangal, INDIA. Actively engaged in research for the past twelve years, he has many internationally acclaimed publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals with an impressive h-index and citations. His areas of research interest include Pharmaceutical nanotechnology, Pharmaceutical formulation development, controlled drug delivery, Pharmaceutical material science, Solubilization techniques, etc.
Dr. Rakesh Patel is currently working as Professor and Head of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology department at Shree S. K. Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ganpat University, Ganpat Vidyanagar, India. His current research interests are formulation and development of novel and conventional pharmaceutical products, dissolution enhancement techniques, drug delivery, regulatory affairs, and industrial pharmaceutical manufacturing. He has completed several industrial research and consultancy projects related to formulation development, method development and regulatory affairs. He has received various AICTE grants. He has guided 6 PhDs and 42 postgraduate students and currently 5 PhD students are working under his guidance. He has more than 110 research publications and 40 presentations in international and national journals and conferences, respectively. He is working as an advisory editorial committee member of several international journals like Dissolution technologies, Drug Discovery and Therapeutics and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, USA. He is associated with various international and national journals as reviewer such as International journal of Pharmaceutics, Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Development and Technology, Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc. He had worked as a council member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Mehsana branch for 2008-10 and life member of Indian Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Indian Society of Technical Education, Indian Pharmaceutical Association. His contributions have been accepted for publication in the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge and Marquis Who's Who in the World.
Prof. Milind Parle is an outstanding Researcher, Eminent Educationist and a Visionary. Dr. Milind Parle is the President of Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and Educators. He served G. J. University of Science and Technology, Hisar as a Chairman, Dept. of Pharm. Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy, Dean, Faculty of Pharm. Sciences and subsequently the Dean Faculty of Medical Sciences. Dr. Parle has more than 40 years of Teaching, Administrative and Research experience. His students are holding senior positions in Pharm. Industries, Academia and Research laboratories all over the globe. Dr. Parle has an impressive h - index of 41, I-10 index of 96 and his 450 research articles carry more than 5800 Citations. Prof. Parle has bagged more than 70 Best Research Paper Awards. The thought provoking academic talks delivered by Dr. Parle as an invited speaker during National and International conferences reflect his ingenious research aptitude and communication skills. Prof. Parle has represented Delhi State in National Chess Championship and is presently an Internationally (FIDE) Rated Chess player. An Indian Patent has been granted recently to Prof. Parle and has several more patents in pipeline. Prof. Parle was conferred coveted Rashtriya Gaurav Award – 2013, Best Pharmacy Teacher Award (Haryana State) -2015, Pharma Ratan Award - 2016 for being an exemplary Academician, Eminent Educationist of India Award -2016 at Indo American Summit for his innovative ideas and the most Prestigious “Pharmacy Teacher of the Year -2016 ” Award conferred by Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI).
Dr. A. Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Atria Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India. He has more than five years of post-doctoral research experience from highly reputed global universities, along with his industrial and teaching experience at various levels. His current research is focused on the development of ionic liquid based smart materials for environmental applications including waste management, water purification and e-waste recycling. He has expertise on the development of validated analytical methods for the determination of new emerging pollutants including pesticides, pharmaceuticals and heavy metals in wastewaters. His research outcomes have been published in high impact journals and cited by highly reputed research groups across the globe. He is an active peer reviewer and editorial member for several high impact journals.
Dr. K. Ruckmani was the first female to receive Doctorate in pharmacy from the state of Tamil Nadu. She has widely explored drug delivery systems and received research grants around 15 crores and established two national facilities serving the research community. She believes in deliverable translational research and product development. She has accomplished several notable and highly funded research projects with 163 publications (h index of 31), 16 book chapters, 3 patents and several prestigious awards (15 awards). Recently, she had established an Incubation center (EDII Chennai supported EDII- Anna Business Incubation Research Foundation) in her campus to support startup companies.
Prof. Swarnlata Saraf is serving as a professor at the University Institute of Pharmacy, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (C.G.) India for the last 29 years. She has received B. Pharmacy degree from I.I.T.B.H.U. and Master's with JRF-UGC (1991) and Ph.D. with SRF-CSIR from H.S. Gour Vishwavidyalay, Sagar in January 1994. Her field of specialization is pharmaceutics and her field of research includes novel drug delivery specially delivery of herbs (phytoconstituents) and cosmetics. She is a recipient of the Illustrious alumini award of Sagar University, honoured by IPGA for her contribution in the profession. She has also been recognized in the world's top 2% Indian scientists by a Stanford University USA survey report. She has received best research paper award by APTI, IPC, P D Sethi award and medicinal plant board Vanaushadhi 2018. She also received a merit award from Brihad Bhartiya Samaj Mumbai. She has also visited the USA for – ACPE, USA meeting in Chicago. She went for a tour as an Indian Delegate for the study tour of Pharmacy Profession by PCI, New Delhi at London, U.K.
Dr. S.J.S. Flora, Former-Director of NIPER, Lucknow, India got his Ph.D. from CSIR-IITR, Lucknow, India and became a post-doctoral fellow at Utah State University, USA. For 29 years, he served in the Defense Research and Development Organization. His major research studies include drug development, and chemical toxicology. His group developed a new drug for arsenic poisoning. The drug was approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) and is currently in human trials. He has published over 350 research papers in highly rated peer reviewed journals and 18 patents. He has more than 15000 citations of his work, scientific 'h' index of 61 and has been an Associate Editor/ Member editorial board of nearly 29 international journals.
Prof. Surajit Pathak, PhD is currently working as a Professor at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Kelambakkam, Chennai from 2015-till date. He has received Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Kalyani, West Bengal, India in 2007, and completed his Post-Doctoral training from the University of Alabama, USA, University of Padova, Italy and University of Linkoping, Sweden. His current research focuses on inflammatory bowel disease, colon cancer, and microRNA. He has published more than 90 research articles in peer-reviewed international journals of repute with 1850 citations and 27 h-index. Dr. Pathak has Edited Springer Nature book entitled “Cancer Stem Cells: New Horizon Cancer Therapy” in 2020 and Elsevier Book "Stem Cells and Aging" in 2020. He is the member of various professional research bodies of India including Indian Association of Cancer Research and Aesthetic Multispecialty Society (AMS).
Dr. Rahul Shukla, working as Assistant Professor at Department of Pharmaceutics, NIPER Raebareli, India, did Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from CSIR CDRI and J.N.U New Delhi, India, M Pharm from IIT BHU, Varanasi, India. He has the experience of as Research at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, India and D.S Kothari Post-Doctoral Fellow at Panjab University, India. He has more than 85 publications in international peer reviewed high impact journals and Books to his credit. He has filed 7 Indian Patents and 1 Copyright. Recently, he has also published two books in Elsevier and Intech open as Editor. Currently, three Ph.Ds. and many M.S students are pursuing their research work under his guidance. His current research interests include targeted drug delivery systems, particle engineering, controlled delivery for neurodegenerative diseases, dendrimer mediated drug delivery, and bioavailability enhancements.
Dr. Talasila Eswara Gopala Krishna Murthy, obtained Master's Degree in Pharmaceutics Specialization from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi. He did Doctoral Degree in the field of Controlled release formulations from JNT University, Hyderabad. He became Assistant Professor in Bapatla College of Pharmacy, Bapatla, Guntur District in the year 1995 and promoted to Associate Professor and Professor, and then became the Principal in 2006. Dr. T.E.Gopala Krishna Murthy served as an academic supervisor to more than 80 Master Degree dissertations and 23 PhD Degree dissertations for the award of M.Pharm and PhD Degrees. He has published more than 250 research articles in reputed national and international Journals. He shared his research experience on the platforms of 25 national and international conferences, workshops, seminars and symposia. At present he is the coordinator for AP Akademi of Sciences for the Guntur region. He is also the Central Executive Committee Member for Indian Pharmaceutical Association. He received fellowship from Association of Pharmacy and Biotechnology and is a recipient of the meritorious teacher award and best researcher award from JNTUK, Kakinada. He is acting as Editorial Board Member for various journals; has authored 4 text books, granted four patents and filed for 9 patents. He acted as Convener for two National Seminars, two Staff Development Programmes sponsored by AICTE and one DBT Sponsored National Seminar. He was granted generous funds from AICTE under RPS and MODROBS Schemes during his academic service till now. He recently received the Sir CV Raman Award from Science City of Andhra Pradesh state Government and Academisthan Foundation.
Dr. Awasthi has over 16 years of professional experience and presently working at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India. Dr. Awasthi obtained his Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India. His scholarly interests range widely from the development of novel micro and nanoparticulate drug delivery systems. He has authored or co-authored more than 130 scientific documents in various high impact journals (Cumulative IF over 200 & H-index of 22). He has one national & 2 international patents to his credit. Dr. Awasthi has supervised more than 16 graduate students and 1 Ph.D. scholar as the main supervisor. He is serving as an active reviewer for more than 15 international journals. His name has been included in Who's Who in the World® recognizing his achievements in pharmaceutical research.
Srinivasa Reddy Bonam obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in pharmacy from the Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Guntur, India. He obtained his PhD in 2018 from the AcSIR at the IICT in India, where he focused on the development of novel immunomodulators and vaccine, and Current Indian Science adjuvants against infectious diseases under the supervision of Dr. H.M. Sampath Kumar. He was awarded a Raman Charpak Fellowship to work at the University of Strasbourg's IBMC. He trained as a postdoctoral researcher at IBMC, University of Strasbourg, France, from 2018 until early 2020, under Prof. Sylviane Muller's supervision. He worked at IBMC on the P140 (Lupuzor®), a 21-mer peptide that fights systemic lupus erythematosus. Currently, he is continuing his postdoctoral research on the 'next-generation flu vaccines for the world' with Prof. Jagadeesh Bayry at INSERM, CRC, Paris, France. He has an h-index of 18 with over 70 publications and over 1,000 citations. He has three patents, one of which has just been licensed to a private organization. He is an editorial board member of a number of journals. He has been a member of various professional associations and also serves as a professional development committee member for the Society of Leukocyte Biology.
Dr. Vipin Dhote is an academic researcher having specialization in Pharmacology and working towards integrating multidisciplinary research from the fields of metabolic and inflammatory diseases. Presently, he completed his Ph.D from M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara and is working as a Professor in Pharmacology at Faculty of Pharmacy, VNS group of Institutions, Bhopal. Earlier his robust experience in R & D center with industries and academic exposure of more than 20 years drives understanding of societal role of Pharmacists. He has multiple publications and book chapters to his credit. During professional journey, he was awarded for his publications, received international travel grants and garnered opportunities to enhance knowledge about social pharmacy and its practices in India. With the objective of integrating different aspects of social, therapeutic and exploratory sciences in traditional and modern medicines, he fosters worthwhile research with scientific value.
Dr. Md. Faiyazuddin is a Professor in the School of Pharmacy, Al – Karim University, INDIA. He is the Dean of Research & Development of Al – Karim University and oversees all research activities at the university. Prof. Faiyazuddin has been actively engaged in teaching & research in the frontier areas of Pharmaceutical Sciences for the last 15 years. Dr. Faiyazuddin's expertise is in Respiratory Nanomedicine and drug delivery. Internationally, Dr. Faiyazuddin has worked with Nano Drug Delivery© USA, University of Hail KSA, and Malaysian and Canadian Enterprises. He is the founder president of International Pharmaceutical Forum- a worldwide community of pharmaceutical fraternity. In recognition of his work, he was nominated as a Fellow member of the prestigious George Washington University USA for three years (2019 -2022). He has honorary membership of the British Society of Nanomedicine, International Society of Aerosol in Medicine, Chicago, Institute of Nanotechnology, Scotland. Most recently he earned 'Executive Degree in Strategic Leadership Management' from the Jacobs-Abbey Global Institute for Leadership Studies, USA. Dr. Faiyazuddin's credentials include 04 grants, 64 research and review papers, 05 books, 09 book chapters, and 05 awards. He was the recipient of prestigious P. D. Sethi Award (2010), DST Young Scientist (2013), Highest Citation Award (2012), and Dettol Protector Icon (2021). Dr. Faiyazuddin is in the editorial boards of various national and international journals.
Dr. Sabu MC has diverse and significant Postdoctoral research experience in Japan and Malaysia. He has an extensive experience in scientific research for more than 20 years in drug discovery using in vivo cell culture assays, in vitro animal models for screening pharmacological activities. He has teaching experience in physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, phytochemistry and pharmacognosy for more than 18 years. Besides, he has experience in Herbal Pharma as Research Associate in Kancor Flavors and Extracts, Angamali, Kerala and conducted their extracts for Pharmacological screening. He has presented research in 50 national and International publications. He is editorial board member and journal reviewer for 12 international journals.
Dr. Rishabha Malviya completed B. Pharmacy from Uttar Pradesh Technical University and M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from Gautam Buddha Technical University, Lucknow Uttar Pradesh. His PhD (Pharmacy) work was in the area of Novel formulation development techniques. He has 11 years of research experience and presently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, School of Medical and Allied Sciences, Galgotias University for the past 8 years. His area of interest includes formulation optimization, nanoformulation, targeted drug delivery, localized drug delivery and characterization of natural polymers as pharmaceutical excipients. He has authored more than 150 research/review papers for national/international journals of repute. He is editorial board member/reviewer of more than 40 journals. More than 10 patent grants from different countries are to his credit, while 40 patents are either published or under evaluation.
Dr. Bijo Mathew is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi, India. Dr. Bijo Mathew obtained his M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Tamilnadu, India in 2008, and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India in 2016. Dr. Mathew's primary areas of focus are drug discovery of neurodegenerative disorders, cancer and molecular modelling. He has published 161 papers, his h-index = 31; with the number of citations: 2659 in Google scholar; h-index = 30; the number of citations: 2287 in Scopus. Dr. Mathew has authored 1 book, 1 edited book, 5 book chapters and 26 invited talks at the national and international level. Dr. B. Mathew is serving as the chief executive guest editor of the journals of Molecules, Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry, and Current Drug Targets.
Dr. Akhlesh K. Jain is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics in the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, India. He received his PhD degree in Formulation Science from Jamia Hamdard University, India in 2007 and postdoctoral training at Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland, University College Cork, Cork, Ireland and National University of Singapore, Singapore during 2008-2011. He also worked as a Senior Scientist at Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow India. He is the recipient of many reputed fellowships including Junior Research Fellowship and CSIR- SRF for research. His research focused on nanoparticles, nanocarriers based delivery systems, mucosal vaccination, non-invasive protein delivery and ligand conjugated colloidal carriers for cancer therapy. Dr. Jain has authored more than 50 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals along with an international patent.
Fazlurrahman Khan obtained his PhD in Microbiology from Jawaharlal Nehru University in India. He is a Research Professor at the Research Center for Marine Integrated Bionics Technology, Pukyong National University, Busan, South Korea. His most recent research focuses on (1) Isolating and characterizing natural molecules that may inhibit the biofilm and virulence properties of both fungal and bacterial pathogen, (2) chemical synthesis of molecules with antimicrobial potential, (3) polymeric and metallic nanoparticles synthesis as potential antimicrobial and antibiofilm drugs, and (4) investigating the molecular mechanisms of bacterial and fungal pathogens interactions in the polymicrobial biofilms.
Kalpana Swain is a post graduate and doctorate in Pharmaceutical sciences from Berhampur University. She has industrial, teaching and research experience of about two decades. She is currently working as Professor and Head in the Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy, Warangal. She is a member of various professional bodies like Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research, etc. She is actively engaged in research in broad areas of novel drug delivery systems and has published many papers in the journals of international and national repute. She has patents to her credit and has authored a few books /book chapters, she has presented about 40 abstracts of the papers in scientific forums. She has been actively contributing to the research community as an editor and reviewer in few international journals of repute and has h-index of 11.
Nagavendra Kommineni worked as a Research Associate in Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, FL-USA. Currently, he is working as a Research fellow in the Population Council at Rockefeller University, New York, USA. His area of expertise includes Liposomal technology for delivering small molecules, Stem cell derived Exosome delivery of small molecules for cancer, Lipid nanoparticles for cancer, Topical and Transdermal product development and development of complex and sterile injectables, developing nanotechnology-based products for HIV and contraception.
Dr. Lalit Kumar, MPharm, PhD is currently working as Assistant Professor-Selection Grade in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal. Dr. Lalit completed his PhD in the area of Nanoparticulate Drug Delivery System. He has around 13 years of teaching and research experience. He has around 70 peer reviewed journal publications, 20 book chapters and filed 2 patents. He has successfully completed five research projects in the specified area funded by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi; Karnataka State Government Vision Group of Science and Technology (VGST), Bengaluru; and Science; Engineering Research Board (SERB), New Delhi and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi. Presently, he is working on five research projects funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi; AICTE, New Delhi and sponsored by Pharmaceutical companies. He has received awards for his best research works in several national and international conferences. Few of them are Best Research Poster Presentation Award in Louis Pasteur Memorial Symposium (ICMR Sponsored) at Coimbatore in August 2008; He was also awarded for his best research publications. He has also received the Young Scientist Award 2021 from Society of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (SPER). He has successfully guided 19 MPharm students for their final year research work. Presently, he is guiding 3 MPharm and 8 PhD students for their research work in the area of Nanoparticulate Drug Delivery System.
