Kuldeep Dhama, M.V.Sc., Ph.D, is working as Principal Scientist in ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, India. With 25 years of research and teaching experience in areas of microbiology, immunology, virology, he has developed several diagnostics, vaccines, immunomodulatory regimens, hypotheses to counter infectious diseases of animals, poultry, and public health concerns. He has 700 research publications, 6 books, 65 book chapters, honored with 55 Best Paper Awards and other recognitions. He is an Associate of National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, India, worked as Nodal Officer, WTO, and member of Wildlife Health Specialist Group (IUCN). He is serving as Editor in nearly 20 scientific journals. His Google scholar h-index is 50 and Scopus h-index is 36.
Mr. Suraj Mali formerly worked at Dr. Reddys Laboratories, Hyderabad as an Analytical Scientist and previously studied in the Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. He has more than 57 Publications in international journals with an H index of 14, i10 15, RG Score of 26.77 with 10,000+ reads. He has 1 chapter in Springer Book, "Essential oils: Applications and Trends in Food Science and Technology". He is a reviewer in a number of journals such as the Journal of heterocyclic chemistry, Nature Scientific Reports, SAR and QSAR in Environmental Research, Chemical Biology & Drug Design, ACS Omega, and Medicinal Chemistry Research. His research area includes computational chemistry, medicinal and organic chemistry and natural products.
Dr. Vinod Kumar has completed his master degree from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla in Organic Chemistry. He has done his PhD in Organic Chemistry from Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur through GNDU Amritsar. He joined Department of Pharmacy, University of Siena, Italy as postdoc fellow and worked with Prof. G Campiani for two years. Thereafter, Dr. Vinod moved to Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology,University of Bath, UK and worked in the research group of Prof. Stephen Husbands for two and a half years. As a postdoctoral fellow, Dr Vinod worked extensively in the field of medicinal chemistry, especially in the design and synthesis and neuroactive compounds. In June 2012, Dr Vinod joined as one of the founding faculty of Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. Thereafter, he joined Department of Chemistry, as Associate Professor and Head of the Department in the same University. Dr Vinod has received research fundings from different agencies including DST, CSIR, BRNS, UGC etc. Dr Vinod has also received visiting fellowship from DST and Oead (Austria) for two years (2017 to 2019) under Indo-Austria joint projects. He is working in collaboration with Prof. Ira-Ida Skvortsova of the Department of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, University of Innsbruck,Innsbruck, Austria. Dr Vinod is an editorial board member of Current Organic Chemistry and received various awards and fellowships from different organizations.
Mohammad Abid did his PhD in Organic & Medicinal chemistry from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He undertook postdoctoral studies from the University Paris Descartes, France on antibacterial drug discovery targeting PDF and MetAP enzymes during September 2008 to January 2010. Since December 2010, Dr Abid has been working as an academician at JMI. He also received a Young Scientist research grant from the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India. Recently, he was awarded the prestigious Raman Postdoctoral Fellowship by the UGC to work as visiting Assistant Professor at Eppley Institute for Research in Cancer & Allied Diseases, UNMC, Omaha, USA. Dr Abid's research group explores numerous interests within the discipline of structure-based drug design and medicinal chemistry.
Kusal K Das (b.1962) is currently a Distinguished Chair Professor of Physiology at Shri B.M.Patil Medical College, Hospital; and Research Centre, BLDE (Deemed to be University), Vijayapur, India. Professor Das's area of research interest is heavy metal induced alteration of cell signaling transduction on vascular pathophysiology during low oxygen microenvironment. Prof.Das was the Visiting Professor of Medicine (2014-2016) at School of Medicine, University of Leeds, UK and Visiting Professor of Physiology (2017) at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, USA. Prof.Das is also holding the position of Dean of Environmental Health and Interregional Coordinator under UNESCO Chair holder in Life Sciences (Biophysics, Biotechnology and Environmental Health).
Dr. Girish Kumar Gupta has completed his master degree from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. He has done his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala. Presently, he has been working as Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Sri Sai College of Pharmacy, Badhani, and Director Research and Development at Sri Sai Group of Institutes, Pathankot, India. He got several fellowships and distinctions and has published more than 90 scientific publications. Dr. Gupta has received research fundings from different agencies including DST, AYUSH etc. Dr. Gupta is an editorial board member of numerous reputed journals and received various awards and fellowships from different organizations. His current focus is on the discovery of bioactive natural products and chemical entities especially in the field of antimicrobials by the use of virtual screening followed by in vitro assays.
Dr. Rangappa Keri, working as Associate Professor at the Centre for Nano and Material Science, Jain University, Bangalore. His areas of interest are Organic and Medicinal Chemistry, especially the development of new drugs including acetyl acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitors (Alzheimer drug), anti-cancers and neuroprotective agents. Besides, developing synthetic tools (reactions and reagents) and networks of reactions (synthetic strategies) for efficient and selective chemical synthesis by using different catalysts. He has 4.5 years of postdoctoral research experience (Portugal and Korea) and 15 years of teaching/research experience. He has been awarded the prestigious BK 21 Korean fellowship by the Korean Government and FCT fellowship awarded by Portugal Government. He has published more than 80 research articles in the reputed international journal related to organic and medicinal chemistry.
Dr. Neelesh Kumar Mehra is working as an Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutics & Biopharmaceutics in the Department of Pharmaceutics, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (NIPER), Hyderabad, India. He served as Manager in Product Development, Sentiss Research Centre, Sentiss Pharma Pvt Ltd. Gurgaon for development, scale-up and technology transfer of complex ophthalmic, inhalation and optic pharmaceutical products. He received ICMR Shakuntala Amir Chand Award from ICMR, New Delhi and TEAM AWARD' for successful commercialisation of Ophthalmic Suspension product. He has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications in high repute International Journals, >30 book chapters, 2 patents and 01 technology transfer to his credit. He published 03 books on Polymer, dendrimers and nanocarriers for drug delivery. Several government and industry sponsored research projects are running in Dr. Mehra's Lab.
Dr. Suprabhat Mukherjee is a leading expert in the field of immunity and immunopharmacology. He obtained his Ph.D. from Visva-Bharati, India and is currently affiliated as the Assistant Professor & Coordinator in Department of Animal Science, Kazi Nazrul University, India. He has published 62 articles, 16 book chapters, 01 book and a patent. He is supervising 04 Ph.D. students and holding the position of Editor, Associate, Editorial Board member and reviewer of many reputed journals.
Dr. M. N. Noolvi is affiliated with Shree Dhanvantary Pharmacy College, Kim. He has achieved excellence in drug discovery by synthesizing newer chemical entities and evaluation of biological activity to arrive at novel drug candidates for various disorders and thereby contribute to the field of medicine. He has also trained potential younger generations in the field of drug discovery. Based on the published scientific paper, he has established international credibility/reputation in areas that have a direct impact on the environment. The state-of-the-art initiatives to solve environmental or biological issues have received widespread acknowledgements. The research efforts of Professor Noolvi has resulted in 96 research, review articles, patents and a text book published by CBS publisher (2014) scoring 2993 citations with an H-index of 27 since 2009.
Dr. Rishi Paliwal is presently holding the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak, MP, India. Dr. Paliwal has contributed substantially to research on novel drug delivery, drug targeting and nano-biotechnology involving colloidal drug carriers customized for targeted drug delivery. He has published more than 45 research papers in high impact internationally reputed journals. Dr. Paliwal has written/edited 03 books and contributed to more than 20 book chapters in the leading international books of material sciences, nanoscience and pharmaceutical sciences. His lab is funded by DBT, New Delhi and UGC, New Delhi for 03 projects.
Professor, M. Janaki Ramaiah received Ph.D. in Center for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, INDIA (2001-2007). He has worked previously at SASTRA University as Assistant Professor (R) (2014-2021). He has been actively involved in identifying several small molecule modulators of microRNAs, using cell lines and Drosophila as model systems. He is actively involved in Nano particle-based drug delivery, and understanding of metabolite regulation and its implication in cancer therapy against glioblastoma. He has worked in several projects as principal Investigator and also worked as a team member in executing several projects of National and International importance. He has published 88 international publications with H-index of 28, and I- index 62. Presently, he is working on the role of noncoding RNA in cancer stem cells in various cancers, such as Glioblastoma, breast cancer and Leukemia. He is an active reviewer in Oncogene, Gene J, Life Science, FASEB, Mol Biol reports, BMC Cancer, South African J of Botany, South African J of Biological Sciences, PLoS One, Neuroscience Letter, Current Pharmaceutical design etc. He is presently Research Advisory committee in KL University, and was recognized as Top 2 percentile scientist (Elsevier). He is a Review board member of Technology in Cancer Research & Treatment.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar Singh received his BPharm (2003) and MPharm (2005) from UIPS, Panjab University, Chandigarh and PhD (2013) from IKG Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Jalandhar. His major areas of research interests are computer-aided drug-design, polymer-drug conjugates for targeted delivery to CNS and cancerous cells, antimalarial therapeutic agents, and green chemistry approaches for chemical synthesis. Dr. Singh has over 15 years of teaching experience and has guided many Ph.D. and PG students. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed SCI/SCOPUS-indexed scientific papers with a total impact factor of more than 200 in various chemistry and pharmacy journals as main or corresponding author. He currently serves as an Editorial Advisory Board Member of 10 international journals, including the SCI-indexed MRMC (Bentham), JTCMS (Elsevier) and PeerJ. He has received the Publon Award 2016, 2017 and the Publon "Excellent Peer Reviewer Award" for outstanding reviewing of more than 230 research papers of different international journals. He also has over 50 National and International Conference Abstracts, and 5 Books to his credit. He is also serving as a Publon academy mentor and a Bentham brand ambassador.
Dr. Shailendra Pratap Singh earned a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology and JNTU Hyderabad. In 2013, he moved to the United States for a postdoctoral research fellowship at Kansas University Medical Centre in Kansas. He went on to work as a Research Scientist at New York Medical College in New York, USA. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor at Central University of Rajasthan. He is finding new target molecules for Metabolic Syndrome (Mets): Cardiovascular diseases and Diabetes. During this period, he made significant contributions in his research area and received many awards.
Dr. Sandeep Sundriyal pursued his Ph.D. (Medicinal Chemistry) in 2008 from NIPER, SAS Nagar. Later, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate (2009-2017) at various international institutes. He is a recipient of the 'Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship (2013-15)' and a 'Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA)' of the UK. Dr. Sundriyal's research group is currently developing small molecules to target infectious organisms, including Plasmodium falciparum and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. His research is funded by a number of depts. such as the Department of Science and Technology, Department of Biotechnology, and Indian Council of Medical Research etc.
Dr. Vivek Singh has completed his Ph.D from B.H.U. Varanasi, India in Biotechnology in 2009 and M.Sc. from M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara, India in Biotechnology in 2004.
He is currently working as Senior Research Scientist (Grade IV) at L V Prasad Eye Institute. Hyderabad, India. His previous experiences include: Research Scientist (Grade III) from 2016 to 2020 from the Prasad Eye Institute. Hyderabad, India. Research Scientist (Grade II) from 2013 to 2016 at the same institute. Post-Doctoral Fellow from 2009 to 2013 at the Cole Eye Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA.
Prof. (Dr.) Neeraj Verma is working as Dean Academics at Goel Institute of Pharmacy & Sciences, Faizabad Road, Lucknow. She did his Doctorate from Siksha O Anusandhan University Bhubaneswar, Odisha, (2014) M.Pharm from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, UP (2006), B. Pharm from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, UP (2004) and D. Pharma from Govt. Polytechnic Lakhimpur-Khiri, UP (1999). She has more than 17 years of Professional experience in teaching & research. She is an Associate member of The Sugar Technologists' Association of India, Life member of APTI, India (UP/LM-172), Life member of IPA, India (UP/LUCK/LM/0064). She has Published 22 research Papers in indexed journals with h index: 9, i10 index: 9, authored 2 books and has two filed patents and one granted patent. She has made scientific deliberations in many national and international conferences and has given several invited lectures. She has supervised 12 students who later received the PG degree. She is editorial board member of Acta Scientific Medical Sciences, Journal of Drug Discovery & Development, Indian Journal of Pharmacy & Pharmacology. She has received a number of awards, such as Certificate of Appreciation from EET CRS Research wing for Excellence in Professional Education & Industry in 5th Science & Technology Award -17, 'Best Educationist award' for outstanding contribution in Pharmacy Profession at Dehradun by Loqman National and international award, 'Rising Star award' for outstanding contribution in Pharmacy Profession at Delhi by Nirali Prakashan, 'Best Principal of the year Award -2020' etc. She is the Founder of OMA Welfare Trust and works as a social activist for society.
Prof. Pankaj Dixit is a well-known academician and a researcher in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacology. He is an alumnus in the department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur (MH). His research interests include pharmacokinetics, diabetes and behavioural pharmacology. He has 40+ research publications in journals of international repute and h-index of 16. He has two Indian patents to his credit and he has written one book chapter. He is a reviewer of many reputed pharmacology journals and is a life member of numerous Indian bodies.
Vijay M Khedkar is a highly optimistic and proactive computational medicinal chemist with Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (Computational Medicinal Chemistry). Dr. Vijay has a successful track record of executing lead identification and optimization projects by applying molecular modeling techniques.
Raghuvir Pissurlenkar PhD (Tech) MRSC is an Associate Professor at Goa College of Pharmacy, Goa, India, since 2014. He has over 16 years of teaching and research experience in Organic Medicinal Chemistry and Biostatistics. Dr. Pissurlenkar has expertise in quantum chemistry, structure-based and ligand-based drug design approaches, and methods involved in the estimation of free energies of binding and solvation using techniques like molecular simulations. Dr. Pissurlenkar has graduated from Goa College of Pharmacy / Goa University (2002) and completed Masters (2004) and PhD (2010) from Bombay College of Pharmacy / Mumbai University. Dr. Pissurlenkar has 43 research papers to his credit published in peer-reviewed international journals. His research work has crossed 800 citations. He has been an invited speaker at interactional conferences, Beijing, China in 2015 and Madrid, Spain in 2019. Both his talks were supported by Travel Grants Schemes from University Grant Commission, New Delhi. He has been a member of the prestigious Royal Society of Chemistry since 2017.
Dr. C.Rajkuberan did PhD in Biotechnology in 2016, from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapplli, India. At present, he is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, India. He is actively teaching both UG/PG students and has guided more than 30 PG students for project dissertation. He has published 35 papers to his credit with average cumulative impact factor 87.8 and h-index 14 with 771 citations. He has expertise in Nanomedicine, drug delivery, Polymers and Toxicology.
Dr. Lokesh Deb completed Diploma in Pharmacy (1999) under Drug Control Department, Government of Karnataka, India. Thereafter, he completed B. Pharma (2003) and M. Pharma (Pharmacology)(2005) from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka. He obtained a Ph.D. (Pharmaceutical Science) from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. He joined Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal, Manipur (A national Institute of Department of Biotechnology, Government of India) as a Scientist. Presently, he is working as Scientist (Pharmacology) in IBSD-Regional Centre, Gangtok, Sikkim, India. He also worked as a visiting scientist at Cytokine-Research-Laboratory, Department of Experimental Therapeutic, MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, USA.
Dr. Bijo Mathew is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi, India. Dr. Bijo Mathew obtained his M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Tamilnadu, India in 2008, and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India in 2016. Dr. Mathew's primary areas of focus are drug discovery of neurodegenerative disorders, cancer and molecular modelling. He has published 161 papers, his h-index = 31; with the number of citations: 2659 in Google scholar; h-index = 30; the number of citations: 2287 in Scopus. Dr. Mathew has authored 1 book, 1 edited book, 5 book chapters and 26 invited talks at the national and international level. Dr. B. Mathew is serving as the chief executive guest editor of the journals of Molecules, Current Topics in Medicinal Chemistry, and Current Drug Targets.
Dr. Bhupendra works as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Shree S.K.Patel College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Ganpat University, North Gujarat, India. He did his Ph.D. from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan, Gujarat, India. He did his PG and UG from M.S.University, Baroda, Gujarat. He has 19 years of experience in academic/industry (17+2). He was awarded the Carrier Award for Young Teacher by AICTE, New Delhi in 2013. He was also awarded for Distinguished Associate Professor in TechNExt India 2017 by CSI, Mumbai. He claims on his name more than fifty national and international publications. He fetched grants for Research Projects, Staff Development Programs, Seminars, Conferences, and Travel Grants from National and State Government agencies. He has also given his guidance in industrial consultancy projects conducted at the institute. His two patents were published and one application was submitted at the Indian Patent office. He has delivered expert talks and invited scientific sessions in several national and international conferences and seminars. He is actively working in the field of lipid-based drug delivery and nanotech formulations. He has guided 7 Ph.Ds. and 45 PG research scholars supervised and 5 Ph.Ds. and 3 PG research scholars are currently working under his guidance in the field of Nanoparticulate Drug Delivery and Bioavailability Enhancement.
Dr. Velma received his BSc (2009) and MSc (2011) degrees in chemistry from the Osmania University, Hyderabad. He earned his Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry (2019) from CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. During his Ph.D. final year, he moved to RMIT-University, Australia as a Visiting Research Fellow, then continued as postdoc fellow and later he joined as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona, USA (Jan-2021,) where he is actively involved in the AD, T2D and breast cancer drug discovery projects. Dr. Velma has extensive experience in the development of lead molecules for the treatment of cancer and gained superior experience in-vitro in cell culture works. He authored nearly 30 international peer-reviewed journal articles and two (2) of the US patents granted among the 3 filed. In addition, he is serving as a reviewer for several international reputed peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Nimmala Manga Thayaru (B.Tech, M.Tech., Ph.D., MIEEE, MCSI, MISTE, MIAENG) is a professor in the department of Information Technology at the VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology, India. She obtained her PhD degree in 2010 from Andhra University, India, with specialization in Computer Science & System Engineering. Overall, she has over 21 years of teaching experience, and her areas of interests are mainly focused on Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Compiler design Database Management System, Operating Systems, etc., and she has research interests in various sub-topics related to Bioinformatics and Security. Dr. Thayaru has published more than 40 papers, on a diverse range of topics in various journals of international repute.
Dr.R.Elancheran is a Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry, Annamalai University under DST PURSE PHASE II. He was the CSIR-Senior Research Fellow at Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati, India from 2017 to 2018. He did M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India during 2008-2010. He became the Research Executive in the Medicinal Chemistry Department at Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceutical Ltd, Chennai during 2010-2012. He received Ph.D. in Chemistry from Gauhati University. His current research interests are focused on Heterocyclic and Organic Catalysis, Crystallography and Medicinal Chemistry.
Dr. Raja Chakraborty, PhD, FICS, Associate Professor, Adamas University, India is associated with teaching and research for the last 14 years. He completed his PhD in 2014 in Pharmaceutical Sciences. A few 71 research and review articles with total IF 46.622(JCR 2020), 2 books, 3 edited books and 23 book chapters published with reputed publishers like Springer, Studium press, ACS publishers etc.,1 DBT funded mega-projects, 3 PhD guidance are evident for his research experience. He is associated with different scientific bodies as fellow member and life member and also charged with editorial board member, and reviewer of different journals.
Dr. Sachchida Nand Rai did Masters in Applied Biochemistry from Purvanchal University in 2009. Dr. Rai did Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University on the topic “Immunomodulation of Parkinson’s disease using Mucuna pruriens” in “Neuroscience” stream. Presently, he is pursuing Postdoctoral Research on exploring the Autophagic potential of Mucuna pruriens in Parkinson’s disease from Centre of Biotechnology, University of Allahabad, Prayagraj under the mentorship of Prof. M. P. Singh.
Dr. Meenakshi Dhanawat, M.S. (Pharm) (NIPER-Mohali), Ph.D. (IIT-BHU, Varanasi) Currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, MM College of Pharmacy, MM (DU), Mullana. She has more than 13 years of teaching and research experience. She has attended several national and international conferences in India and abroad. She is the recipient of the travelship award in the DDD section of AAPS-2010, National Biotechnology Conference, California, USA. Apart from this she also received twice the international travel grant from DBT and DST, Govt of India. She has been awarded with many other fellowships and awards, she has 38 publications to her credit.
Dr. Sheshagiri Dixit is currently affiliated to the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, JSS College of Pharmacy, JSSAHER, Mysuru, Karnataka, INDIA. His research interests include, Molecular Modelling, QSAR, Molecular Dynamics, and Synthesis of heterocyclic compounds. Dr. Dixit has published in more than 50 reputed international and national journals.
Dr. Kajal Ghosal is serving as an academician for the last 14 years. Presently, she is working in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India as an assistant professor. She has done her graduation, post-graduation and PhD in the field of pharmaceutical technology from the same university. She has received a prestigious Kothari Postdoctoral fellowship in India for doing postdoc. She has carried out her postdoctoral research in the Central European Institute of Technology in Czech Republic. She has also visited University of Novi Sad, Serbia and University of Münster, Germany under European COST action. She has published one book on Electrospinning from Royal Society of Chemistry and another two books on polymer science which are in the final stage of publication from RSC and Elsevier. She has collaborated with many international scientists from the USA, Egypt, Quatar, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Australia and Poland. She has been awarded with the National Scholarship program of Slovakia for carrying short term research in Slovak Academy of Science and she has been selected for Poland-Ulam fellowship for carrying short term research in IPPT-PAN, Warsaw, Poland. She has published 29 research and review articles from peer-reviewed journals. Her research areas are Magnetite Nanoparticles, Electrospinning, Drug Delivery, Formulation Development, Microemulsion/Nanoemulsion, Solubility enhancement techniques, Nanotubes, Nanofibers, Transdermal drug delivery systems, and Nano-composites.
Dr. Subhash Chander is currently working as Assistant Professor-II, at Amity Institute of Phytochemistry & Phytomedicine (AIP&P), Amity University, Noida. Dr. Chander completed Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Dept. of Pharmacy, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus and M.S. from National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER). He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience in Academia and Industry. His expertise is in Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Designing. His research work mainly focuses upon the drug discovery against human pathogens involving HIV-1, Leishmania and bacterial as well as fungal strains including MTb. His team has discovered several nano molar potent hits against HIV-1, Mycobacterium tuberculosis and Leishmania. His team has published more than 42 publications in SCI/Scopus indexed journals, three book chapters and completed two industry-sponsored projects, while one project is in progress. He has filed four patents and transferred one technology to industry.
Dr. Sk. Hasane Ahammad received the B.Tech. Degree and the M.Tech Degree in electronics and communication engineering from JNTU Kakinada in 2011 and 2014, respectively. He has received a Doctor of Philosophy from KLEF Deemed to be University, Vaddeswaram, Guntur, AP. He works as Associate Dean R & D at Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation, Vaddeswaram, Guntur, India. He has published more than 68 papers in IEEE Journals, International Journals, and conferences in Bio-Medical Image processing, Machine learning, Deep Learning and Communications. He is a student Member of IEEE.
Dr. Vikas Jain is presently working as professor and Dean at Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical studies Ujjain. He has completed his B. Pharmacy from B. R. Nahata College of Pharmacy, Mandsaur (M.P.) in 2003, M. Pharmacy from B.N. Collage of Pharmacy, Udaipur (Rajasthan) in 2006 and Ph.D. from Shobhit University Meerut in 2010. He has published more than 40 research and review articles and 05 book chapters in international and national journals of repute. He has guided 01 Ph.D. and 15 M.pharm students. He also has attended and coordinated several Seminars, Workshop, Awareness Camps and Conferences. Dr. Jain has research skills on Novel Drug Delivery System, Colonic Drug Delivery System and Various Targeted Oriented Drug Delivery System.
Prakash Katakam is a Pharmaceutical Scientist working as Professor and Principal at Indira College of Pharmacy, Nanded, India. He has more than 23 years of Professional Experience as a Teacher and Researcher. He published over 120 research articles in indexed journals and guided 10 PhD students. His research areas are 3D Printing for Personalized Drug Delivery, Pulmonary Delivery of Vaccines, Micro/Nanoparticles, Phyto-Formulations and Drug Discovery. His major research focus is on identifying applications of various polymers for 3D Printing for Personalized Medication. He has been co-principal investigator for a sponsored research project of National Tea Research Foundation, India.
Dr. Vaishali M. Patil is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at KIET Group of Institutions, GZB, India. Dr. Patil has completed her graduation in pharmacy (B. Pharm), post graduation (M. Pharm) and doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. She has expertise for CADD, QSAR and medicinal chemistry. She has experience in handling computational software and interpretation of analytical data (IR, NMR, MS). Dr. Vaishali has authored papers published in peer reviewed Journals and 16 book chapters (Elsevier, Springer, and Nova). She has received funding from various national and international agencies.
Dr. Rajkumar Sahani is a postdoctoral researcher working at the Medicine institute, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, USA. He received his PhD from the National Tsing-Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, (Homogeneous gold-catalysis) and postdoctoral training at the Center for Drug Design, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. He is working on designing, synthesizing, and evaluating HIV-1 capsid protein inhibitors. His research interests are in targeting different viruses including Retroviruses, Cytomegaloviruses, and Flaviviruses. Currently, he is working to improving the cost effective and efficient processes for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
