Abstract
Linear absorption and emission spectroscopy of a range of new phenyl ketone derivatives were determined. Two-photon absorption properties have been detected by Ti:sapphire femtosecond laser tuning from 720 nm to 880 nm at intervals of 20 nm. Remarkable electron donor-acceptor group effects on the optical properties of the derivatives were observed.
