Abstract
The semi-thiosemicarbazone and N4-substituted thiosemicarbazone derivatives and their metal complexes of the active principle of Henna were structurally characterized along with single crystal X-ray studies. The compounds were evaluated for their antiproliferative activity against human leukemia KBM-5 cells, where [Cu(3)] was the most active compound with IC50 of 0.3 μM attributed to down regulation of NF-κB activation.
