背景:肥胖被认为是一种全球流行病。这种疾病与多种健康影响有关,例如需要预防和治疗的代谢紊乱。从这个意义上说,生物活性次生代谢物可以从农业工业废料等廉价来源获得,为肥胖提供了一种可持续的替代方案。在这些次生代谢产物中,酚类化合物具有共同的化学结构核心,具有不同的取代,为它们提供了抗氧化、炎症和抗衰老等生物学特性。目的:本综述的目的是编制来自农工业副产品的酚类化合物的抗肥胖治疗靶点。方法:科学信息已从 Scopus、PubMed 和 Google Scholar 等不同的数据库中获取,以选择过去几年进行的可用全文研究。结果:本综述表明,果皮、种子、果渣和其他农产工业副产品在动物模型中具有不同的抑制与脂质或葡萄糖代谢相关的酶以及调节生物标志物、基因和肠道微生物群的作用。结论:农工业副产品在预防或治疗肥胖或相关疾病方面的作用可以被认为是开发新的高价值产品,这些产品作用于脂质、葡萄糖和能量代谢、氧化应激、炎症、脂肪组织或肠道微生物群。然而,需要进一步的人体研究来确定最佳给药参数。
