The section named Information Science of the journal Current Social Sciences publishes original research articles, letters, reviews/mini-reviews and guest-edited thematic issues on various topics related to information science from the view of social science.
 

This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub-fields in the area. Articles of interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Basic theoretical developments, applications, case studies, novel approaches and processes, and empirical research are among the topics covered in the papers. Dr. Peihan Wen is an associate professor of the School of Management Science and Real Estate at Chongqing University, China. He received a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD degree in Management Science and Engineering in 2004 and 2010, respectively, both from Tsinghua University, PR China. He has published over 40 referred SCIE/SSCI/EI papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. His current research interests are Information Systems and Digital Twin, Knowledge Graph and Complex Networks, Smart Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Dr. Jose-Manuel Sáez-López is a university tenured professor at the Department of Teaching in the School of Education at National University of Distance Education (Spain). He holds a doctorate in Educational Models and ICT from the UNED. His scientific and academic work has been published in 52 peer-reviewed journals. His research lines are the integration of educational technology in learning processes, coding in school, gamification, virtual learning environments, and methodological strategies. He was a primary school teacher for 16 years, of which he served as head of studies and director of the center.
