The section named Education of the journal Current Social Sciences publishes original research articles, letters, literature reviews, mini-reviews and guest-edited thematic issues on various topics related to the field of education. The section is not limited to any specific area of education and covers the full spectrum of education research from theoretical to applied, both qualitative and quantitative methodologies and all levels from preschool to Ph.D.  Articles of an interdisciplinary nature are particularly welcome.  Submissions in the following areas are of special interest to the readers of this journal:

Prof. Brian Lanahan is an associate professor of citizenship education at the College of Charleston, USA. He was a fulbright scholar in Sarajevo BiH in 2008, a Woodrow Wilson International Center Research Scholar in 2014 and a fulbright scholar in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia in 2019. His research interests include comparative education and education in post-conflict countries. In 2017, prof. Lanahan published Post-conflict education for democracy. Bosnian education in the post-war era 1995–2015. In 2023, prof. Lanahan published Higher Education as Politics in Post-Rose Revolution Georgia.

Brian AN is an Associate Professor of Educational Policy and Leadership Studies at the University of Iowa, and Faculty Associate for the Center for Research on Undergraduate Education. AN's research focuses on college choice, college access, college persistence, the impact of college on students, and degree attainment. Particularly, AN has concentrated on the role of accelerated programs (e.g., dual enrollment) on academic performance, college readiness, and degree attainment. AN's work has appeared in journals such as Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis, Social Science Research, Journal of Higher Education, Research in Higher Education, Review of Higher Education, and Higher Education.

Jay Jahangiri is a full professor of Mathematical Sciences at Kent State University and Chair of Mathematical Sciences at Geauga and Twinsburg Regional Academic Center, Ohio, U.S.A. Jay received his Ph.D. in Geometric Function Theory from York University (England) in 1986 and held a Post-Doctoral position at the University of Kentucky (U.S.A.) during 1986-1987. He taught at California University Systems from 1987 to 1994 before joining Kent State University in 1994, where he was an Assistant Dean from 1999-2001. Jay is a life-member of American Mathematical Society and published over 130 mathematical analysis articles and over 25 pedagogical articles.

Dr. Wong, Tak Sum did Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics with research area of Corpus Linguistics during 2014-2018 from City University of Hong Kong. He then did Master of Philosophy in Humanities with Research Area of Chinese Linguistics during 2006-2008 from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). From February 2020, he has been teaching undergraduate courses as well as an MA course in the Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Besides, he is also working in the same university on Brushtalk Data Organizing International Symposium from June 2018 till date. Besides, he also worked as Senior Research Assistant from 2017- 2018 in the Department of Linguistics and Translation at the City University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of Thai Culture Association of Hong Kong. He is on the editorial board of International Journal of Language and Linguistics and International Journal of Education.

His research interest focuses on rural education, science teaching and learning, teacher professional development, online teaching and ICT integration. He is the guest editor for a special issue paper "Digital Education and Online Learning to achieve inclusivity and instructional equity" for the South African Journal of Computers (SAJC). He has published a number of articles and presented at conferences.
