Prof. Jiapeng Sun is an associate professor at Hohai University. He is a senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and has authored/co-authored more than 80 papers in SCI journals, such as Additive Manufacturing, Corrosion Science, Scripta Materialia, Journal of Magnesium and Alloys, Materials Science and Engineering: A Journal of Alloys and Compounds and International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer. He was a youth committee member of the editorial board for the Journal of Magnesium and Alloys. Prof. Sun was also a guest editor of the special issues on “Corrosion and Protection of Magnesium Alloy” published in Metals.
Professor Cao is a Fellow of IEEE, a Member of the Academy of Europe, a Foreign member of Russian Academy of Engineering, a Member of European Academy of Sciences and Arts etc. He is an Endowed Chair Professor, the Dean of the School of Mathematics, the Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Networked Collective Intelligence of China and the Director of the Research Center for Complex Systems and Network Sciences at Southeast University and the Dean of the School of Mathematics at Southeast University. So far, Professor Cao has published 995 ISI journal papers, 50 conference papers and 5 edited books since 1996. He is principal/co-principal investigator of 22 conducted research projects. His published papers have received more than 49897 citations with H-index of 112 according to ISI-Web of Science, and received 59122 citations with H-index of 124 according to Google Scholar. He has received, among others, National Innovation Award of China, Gold medal of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Obada Prize, The State Council Special Allowance of China, Thomson Reuters Research Fronts Award, the First Class Science and Technology Award of China Jiangsu, and the Second Class Natural Science Awards of Ministry of Education of China.
Dr. Jiang received his BE (1995) and MS (1998) in in Thermal Science and Engineering from Chongqing University. After obtaining his Ph.D. from Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, CAS in 2001, he worked for IMM GmbH (2002-2004, Germany), University of Aveiro (Portugal, 2004-2006), University of New Brunswick (Canada, November 2005), and the Pennsylvania State University (USA, 2006-2012). In October 2010 he began to work for Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He has authored or co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal papers, 22 invention patents, and 18 computational softwares.
Dr. L. Karthik is presently a Project Lead in Synthetic biology at Salem microbes Pvt.Ltd. His research interest is to develop the CRISPR/Cas12a assisted tools for metabolic engineering. He had published around 70 research papers in international and national peer reviewed journals. He is Communication committee member of the International Chemical Biology Society. In 2016, he got Prestigious “Young Scientist Award” from Indian Association of Applied Microbiologists for his outstanding research work and also he got Best Research scholar award-2012 from VIT University. He got 200 young scientist-2012 fellowship (DST) for to attend an International conference.
Dr Philip Moore has been awarded Doctor of Engineering degree by the Graduate School of Engineering at Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Japan. He is a Master Supervisor and Adjunct professor at the School of Information Science and engineering, Lanzhou University and a Guest Professor at Shandong Normal University. He has worked with many international conferences, has worked as a project consultant on international projects, and serves on the editorial board on a number of international Journals and has edited books and journal special issues. His work has been published in international conference proceedings, journals, and books.
Dr. Zhang is a professor in College of Mechanical Engineering, Changzhou University, China. He has done researches in tribology (lubrication, friction and wear) for more than 20 years, and published more than one hundred papers in this field. He has developed the flow equation for a nanoscale fluid flow and the theory of mixed rheologies elastohydrodynamic lubrication. He has also authored fourteen invention patents, a lot of which have been transferred to enterprises
Chong Cheng is a DRS and AvH postdoc researcher in Freie Universität Berlin. He obtained his BS degree in Biomedical Engineering, Sichuan University. Then, he pursued his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. Changsheng Zhao. From 2013, he had been doing research works at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with Prof. Nicholas A. Kotov as Joint-Training Ph.D. student. After finishing his Ph.D studies, he joined the group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Haag as a DRS POINT and Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Freie Universität Berlin.

İnan Güler graduated from Erciyes University in 1981. He took his M.S. degree from Middle East Technical University in 1985, and his Ph.D. degree from İstanbul Technical University in 1990, all in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He is a Professor at Gazi University where he is Head of Electronics. His interest areas include biomedical systems, biomedical signal processing, biomedical instrumentation, electronic circuit design, neural networks, and artificial intelligence. He has written more than 300 articles on his interest areas. He is Editorial Board member of Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence since 2006.
Dr. Gao is professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology, China. His major research interests include biological wastewater treatment, membrane technology, fate and transport of pollutants in environment, environmental biotechnology, microbial ecology. Dr. Gao is an investigator of more than 20 research projects. He has published over 100 papers in high-quality international journals and 16 national innovation patents. He is an associate editor of Water Science and Technology, and editorial board member for five international journals.
I am Jin Huang, and obtained the Ph.D degree in Wuhan University and is working as full-professor in Southwest University (China) now. I have carried out the scientific research at Institute of Chemistry (Chinese Academy of Sciences), Wuhan University of Technology, Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, EastChina Normal University, and so on. My research field focuses on sustaining chemistry and engineering based on high-value utilization of bio-resources, and chemical processing technologies towards materials including nanoparticles modification and macromolecular nano-assembly in large scale. So far, I have published over 150 peer-reviewed paper, and edited three monograph and wrote eight book chapters.
Feng Liang is an Associate Professor at State Key Laboratory of Complex Nonferrous Metal Resources Clean Utilization, Kunming University of Science and Technology, China. Prior to this, Dr. Liang received his Ph.D. from Tokyo Institute of Technology (TIT), Japan. After his Ph.D., he worked as postdoctoral fellowship in TIT. He has published more than 40 papers. He is an advisory panel member of Nanotechnology (IF: 3.4)(2017.01-2018.12), editorial board member of Ctalysts, Innovations in Corrosion and Materials Science, Open Chemistry Journal. His research topic includes electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices (sodium-air battery, Sodium-CO2 battery, solid state battery), solid electrolyte, carbon nanomaterials (graphene, carbon nanohorn) synthesis and their application for energy storage, plasma technology for nanomaterial synthesis and modification.
Dr. Lin received his Ph.D. from the Department of Earth and Environmental Engineering from the Columbia University (USA). He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan. His research focuses on development of advanced materials and catalysts for energy and environmental applications. In the past few years, he has been one of the leading experts for environmental applications of metal organic frameworks (MOFs) and their derivatives. Dr. Lin has served as a reviewer for more than 60 high-impact journals, and has co-authored more than 70 papers in SCI indexed journals.
Professor Chinmay K. Maiti received his MSc (by Res.) in Microelectronics (1976) from the Loughborough University, UK, and PhD (Eng.) in Microwaves (1984) from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT),India. He served at IIT-Kharagpur (1976 -2014) in various academic positions and was also the head of department (2009- 2012). Dr. Maiti was a visiting professor at Queen’s University, Belfast, UK (2004-2006). He joined the SOA University in 2015 where he is currently a visiting Professor. Dr. Maiti has won the INSA-Royal Society (UK) Exchange of Scientists Fellowship in 2003, the CDIL Award for Industry of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers for the best paper in 1997. He is a Life Senior Member of the IEEE, USA. Dr. Maiti has a teaching and research experience of about 45 years in CAD technology of semiconductor devices, flexible electronics, and strain-engineering in micro- and nanoelectronics areas. He has published more than 400 technical papers, authored/co-authored/edited 8 books and monographs, and 6 book chapters. He has edited the “Selected Works of Professor Herbert Kroemer”, Nobel Laureate in Physics 2000 (World Scientific, Singapore, 2008).
Dr. Hua Meng is a professor in School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Zhejiang University, China. He received his Ph.D. from Department of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Pennsylvania State University, University Park, USA, in 2001. His research focuses on supercritical-pressure heat transfer, supercritical-pressure combustion, and PEM fuel cell modeling. He is an Associate Fellow of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
Prof. Mehrpooya is associate professor at Renewable Energies and Environmental Department, University of Tehran. He is head of hydrogen and fuel cell laboratory. In this laboratory they research on micro fuel cell manufacturing and nano-structured electrocatalysts. He has more than 10 years of experience in design and optimization of integrated renewable and non-renewable processes like fuel cell power plants, hydrogen production and liquefaction, high temperature solar thermal hybrid energy systems, CO2 capturing processes and cryogenic processes. Prior to joining Renewable Energies and Environment Department he worked on various kinds of production processes especially in energy systems and catalytic processes in oil gas industries. Dr. Mehrpooya holds a PhD in chemical engineering from chemical engineering department at University of Tehran, Iran.
Prof. Eng. Lucio Nobile graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Naples with magna cum laude. Since 2002, Lucio Nobile has been a full professor of Mechanics of Solids and Structures in the School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna, Italy. Since 1993, he has been holding classes related to the field of Mechanics of Materials, Mechanics of Structures. He is the author of 130 papers published in national and international conference proceedings, books, and international journals.
Dr. Evangelos Sapountzakis is Civil Engineer, Professor at the Institute of Structural Analysis and Antiseismic Research of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Diploma from NTUA (1984), MSc and DIC degrees from Imperial College, London (1985), PhD degree from NTUA (1991). Apart from NTUA, he is also Professor of Structural Analysis at the School of Corps of Engineers of the Hellenic Army and the Hellenic Open University. His published research comprises 105 original papers in international journals, 143 papers in international conference proceedings, 12 Chapters in books and 5 educational books, while he is the editor of 4 Books or Conference Proceedings. Honorary Editor, Editor-in-Chief, Academic Editor, Regional Editor and Associate Editor of international journals. He has extensive experience (30 years) in the design and analysis of bridge and other large scale structural projects.
Giovanni Vozzi was graduated in Electronic Engineering in 1998 at the University of Pisa. In 2002 got the PhD in Bioengineering at Polytechnic of Milan. From 1/05/2006 to 28/12/2014 he was Assistant Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at the Department of Ingegneria dell’Informazione of University of Pisa. Actually he is Associate Professor of Bioengineering at the Department of Ingegneria dell’Informazione of University of Pisa He is member of Directors board of International Society for Biofabrication, of IEEE and Of National Group of Bioengineering. His research interests are: 1)development of new micro and nanofabrication techniques; 2) development of bioreactors; 3) mechanical, chemical and cell characterisation of new biomaterials; 4) development of cell models through the fusion of Automatic Controls principles and of cell biochemical reactions.
Dr. Qing-Guo WANG earned his B. Eng. in Chemical Engineering in 1982.He further received M. Eng. in 1984 and Ph.D. in 1987 both in industrial automation from Zhejiang University, PR China. He held Alexander-von Humboldt Research fellowship of Germany from 1990 to 1992. He served with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National University of Singapore as a full professor from 1992 to 2015. He is currently a member of Academy of Science in South Africa. His present research interests are mainly in modeling, estimation, prediction, control, optimization and automation for complex systems. He has published over 270 international journal papers and 7 books. He received over 12000 citations with h-index of 63.
Guosong Wu is presently a professor of Hohai University (China). He received his Ph.D. in materials processing engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (China) in 2007. Before he joined Hohai University, he has worked as a researcher in Chinese Academy of Sciences, City University of Hong Kong and Kwangwoon University (South Korea) for about 10 years. His research interests include surface engineering, corrosion science and plasma related technologies. He has published more than 70 international journal papers that have been cited over 1900 times (H-index=30). Also, he is working as an editorial board member for 4 international journals.
Tiangui Ye is the Associate Professor of Marine Engineering and Power Engineering at Harbin Engineering University, China. He graduated in Marine Engineering in 2012 and obtained a Ph.D. in Marine Engineering in 2017 at Harbin Engineering University. Ye has been author and coauthor of about 60 papers on the topics of Structural dynamics, Acoustics of composite and laminated Structures, Ship vibration and noise reduction techniques and Plate and shell theories, most of which have been published in first rate international journals. The group of Prof. Yan concentrates on the environmentally friendly catalysis based on nanomaterials and the research interests span in heterogeneous conversion of biomass and biomass-derived monomers into value-added chemicals and biofuels, electro catalytic energy conversion and storage, catalytic degradation of solid waste and heavy metals.
Dr. Foo Keng Yuen is a lecturer and researcher of River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre, Universiti Sains Malaysia. His research interests are environmental engineering, waste utilization, water treatment technology, catalysis, food security and toxicology, and environmental health. Foo has a Web of Science Hirsch index of 31. He has authored more than 100 publications in reputed international, high-impact and proceeding journals, and book chapters, with the total citations of exceeding 4,000 times. A.K. Barisal received his BE in Electrical Engineering from VSSUT Burla, his ME (Eng.) in Power systems from IIEST, Shibpur, Howrah and his PhD (Eng.) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He has published over 100 articles in different journals and conferences. His research interests include economic load dispatch, Hydrothermal Scheduling and soft computing applications to power system operation and control. He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
Gaurav Dhiman received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He has completed his Master Degree of Computer Applications from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala. Dr. Weinong Fu obtained his BEng from Hefei University of Technology in 1982, MEng from Shanghai University of Technology in 1989, and Ph.D. from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1999. Before he joined PolyU, he was one of the key developers at Ansoft Corporation in Pittsburgh, USA. He has about seven years of working experience at Ansoft, focusing on the development of commercial software Maxwell, which is a leading commercial software package for the computation of electromagnetic fields of electromechanical equipment. From 1982 to 1986, he worked at Shanghai Electrical Apparatus Research Institute, where he accumulated valuable experience to deal with the design and manufacturing of electric devices in practice, and constructed a solid foundation for further academic career development.
Professor Lei Guo received his PhD in Chemical Engineering and Technology from Chongqing University, China in 2015. He is currently working as a Professor in Department of Materials and Chemical Engineering, Tongren University, China. He has conducted a series of studies in various areas of the field of chemical & materials engineering: electrochemistry, anti-corrosion technology, theoretical simulation. He recently focuses on metal-air batteries and organic corrosion inhibitors. He has authored over 150 papers published in international journals, 5 book chapters and 100 patents. He is also a member of the editorial board of 5 international journals.
Dr. Zihe Gao is a lecturer at the School of Civil Engineering, Zhengzhou University (ZZU). His research interests include heat and heat transfer behavior and mechanism in tunnel-like structures and high-rise buildings, natural and mechanical ventilation, buoyancy plume and ceiling jet flows. He has published more than 20 SCI-indexed papers in the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, International Journal of Thermal Sciences, Applied Thermal Engineering, etc. Besides, Dr. Gao is the recipient of the IAFSS (International Association for Fire Safety Science). He received the Best Thesis Award “Excellence in Research” in 2017, the Best Poster Award of China National Symposium on Combustion in 2017 and the Best Paper Award of China National Symposium on Combustion in 2018.
Jiajie Guo (M’12) received the B.S. degree in theoretical and applied mechanics from the Department of Engineering Mechanics and Science, Peking University, Beijing, China, in 2006, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA, in 2009 and 2011, respectively.,He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China. His research interests include mechatronics, robotics, and system dynamics/control.
Dr. Wangli He is currently a Professor with the School of Information Science and Engineering, East China University of Science and Technology. Her current research interests include cooperative control of multi-agent systems, networked nonlinear systems, security of cyber-physical systems. She is the Chair of Technical Committee on Networked-based Control Systems and Applications of IES. She was the Visiting Associate Professor of Tokyo Metropolitan University (2015-2017). She was the recipient of Excellent Doctoral Thesis Award of Jiangsu Province in 2001, Young Elite Scientist of CAST in 2017, Young Rising Star Award of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission in 2018.
Dr. Huang completed her PH. D. in 2008 from the Institute of Geophysics, China. She is been working in the field of seismology for so many years. Currently she is holding the position of Research Fellow at China Earthquake Network Center. Her main research area involves Hydrogeology, Engineering geology, Structural geology, Tectonophysics, Petro-geology, Geochemistry, Earthquake hydrology & hydro-seismology, Induced seismicity, especially in the Interaction between fluids and rocks and its role during earthquake preparation and occurrence aimed at Earthquake Prediction, and so on.
Dr. He has finalized his PH. D. from Sichuan University, College of Chemistry in 2006. He currently holds the position of Professor & Doctoral Supervisor at School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Southwest University China. His recent area of research mainly includes Material Science and Engineering, electrochemical catalysis and so on.
Dr. Jialong Jiao currently works as a lecturer in the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, South China University of Technology, China. He received his bachelor’s degree and doctoral degree in the major of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Harbin Engineering University, China in 2012 and 2016, respectively. His research interests include ship seakeeping performance, wave-induced loads and slamming loads, hydroelastic responses of flexible ships and offshore structures. He has more than 30 first-author papers published/accepted in famous professional journals, and some of the papers are recommended and cited by the International Towing Tank Conference (ITTC) Seakeeping Committee and the International Ship and Offshore Structures Congress (ISSC) Loads Committee.
Dr. Yew has been appointed Assistant Professor under the Department of Civil Engineering, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. He actively participated in several projects, award-winning products, patents, and the creation of “Green & Sustainable Building Materials”. He has filed seven (7) intellectual property rights (3 International and 4 National). He has published >40 technical papers and >5 books mainly on sustainable construction materials. He serves as reviewer for several journals: Engineering Structures, Journal of Building Engineering, Construction and Building Materials (Elsevier) etc. He participates actively in several professional bodies (ACI Malaysia, IEM, BEM, MBOT and IET) and serves as the Conference Committee.
Dr. Liu finalized his PH. D. from School of Materials Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology in 2002 with the Major in Study of diffusion Bonding Mechanism and Reaction Layer Growth Behavior of SiC Ceramic to TiAl Alloys. Currently he helds the position Professor at School of Materials Science and Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin. His main research area covers Friction Stir Welding Mechanism and Hybrid Technology, Joining Technology of Advanced and Dissimilar Materials, Control of Welding Equipment and Welding Quality and many more.
I received the M.Eng, and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Northeast Normal University (NENU), Jilin, China, in 2012, and 2015, respectively. Currently, I’m an associate professor in School of Computer Science, Northeast Normal University, Jilin, China. From 2015/11 to 2016/11, I visited the University of Surrey as an academic visitor. I am now working as senior research associate at the City University of Hong Kong. I am particularly interested in bioinformatics, computational intelligence, and system biology.
Dr. Junmin Liu Ha s finalized hi PH. D. from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi. Most recently he helds the position of Associate Professor at Department of Information Science, Xi’an Jiaotong Universit. His Research interest mostly includes Remote Sensing Image Processing, Subspace Clustering, Intelligent Information Processing, along with nonnegative matrix factorization, deep learning, etc. He has also received a number of Grants & Awards some of which are Xu Zongben Applied Mathematics Prize, 2013, Scholarship of Huawei, 2013, Excellent Graduate Student of Xi’an Jiaotong University, 2012, First-class Scholarship of Xi’an Jiaotong University, 2012-2013, Scholarship Award for Excellent Doctoral Student of Ministry of Education, 2011, and so on.
Dr. Mao Completed his PH. D. from School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2007. Ever since he has been working on the field of Power and Energy. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University since 2017. His Current Research area revolves around Turbomachinery Flow and Noise among others.
Dr. Ren received his PhD degree of the electrical engineering from the University of Hong Kong, where now he is an associate professor at Anhui University, China. His research interest includes the nano-optics, optoelectronics, electromagnetics, photovoltaics, plasmonic. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed paper and received more than 1000 citations.
Prof. Dr. Tatjana Sibalija (BSc, MSc, PhD in Mechanical Engineering, from Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade) is Full Professor at the Belgrade Metropolitan University. Her research interest includes production and industrial engineering, applied artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, digital / smart factories, process modelling, design and optimisation, information systems.
She has edited three books and authored 5 books, 7 book chapters and over 120 papers published in peer-reviewed international journals / presented at refereed international conferences. She has served as a chair of many conference sessions and workshops, a member of over 30 international conference program committees, and a member of the editorial board and guest editor of several international scientific journals.
She is the vice-president of the national team of European Technology Platform for Future Manufacturing Technologies, a member of the Managing Board of the National Organisation for Quality, and the president of the National Committee for Six Sigma. She has been coordinating and participating in several international research projects and projects for industry. She has delivered many invited speeches in Europe and Asia, and has been awarded with seven awards. Since 2009, she has been appointed as FP7 / Horizon 2020 (EU Research Framework Programmes) expert.
Dr. Eng. Hussein Togun received his BSc. and MSc. degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Baghdad, Baghdad, Iraq. Also, he received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He was the Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering from 2015-2019. He is a member of the editorial board of 25 international scientific journals. His research interests include Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Nanofluids, CFD Simulation, and Modeling (Ansys-Fluent- ICEM). His current research is based on Numerical and Experimental Investigations of Nanofluids and hybrid nanofluids flow for increasing heat transfer. Dr. Togun has published 35 papers in considered international journals and 13 international conferences with two book chapters.
Dr. Hao Tong Has Finished his PH. D. from Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Harbin Institute of Technology in2008. He is currently an associate professor in Institute of Manufacturing Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Tsinghua University, China. During 2008-2010, he worked at Tsinghua University as a Postdoctoral Fellow. His area of research includes Researches focus on micro/nano machining technology and system including micro EDM, micro ECM, intelligent servo control, CNC system, etc.
Dr. Lei Wang has finished his PH.D. from Beihang University, Solid Mechanics 2015/7. He is currently holding a position as a Lecturer at School of Aeronautic Science and Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing, he has also received Grants Awards some are 1. His research interst includes Uncertainty quantification (UQ) analysis, Structural reliability analysis Optimization design under uncertainty, Reliability-based topology optimization (RBTO), Inverse problems in mechanics, Noise prediction and active vibration control.
Dr. Wu finalized his PH. D. from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in 2007. He currently holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Harbin, China since 2012. His Research Interests consists upon Solid state transformer technologies and application, including the multistage topologies and single stage matrix converter based AC-AC and AC-DC topologies, New inverter topology and control algorithm for grid-connected renewable energy generation system aiming to enhance efficiency, extend operation range and reduce grid current THD, Phase-locked loop technologies for estimating the synchronous information of utility grid, Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm of PV and wind turbine generator and so on.
Dr. Wang finalized his PhD in Structural Engineering from School of Civil Engineering, Fuzhou University, in 2006. He is currently holding the position of Professor in Structural Engineering at School of Civil Engineering Lanzhou University of Technology. His recent research areas includes Steel & Concrete Composite Structures, Structures Fire Resistance of China Architecture Societyand so on.
Dr. Xin Xiao is currently a chemistry professor at South China Normal University in China. He received his Ph.D. from South China University of Technology in 2011. His research interests include nanomaterials, photocatalysis, energy storage, and water treatment. He has published more than 60 SCI papers, and these papers have been cited nearly 2,000 times.
Balal Yousaf currently works as a Assistant Professor/Associate Researcher at the School of Earth and Space Sciences, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei in (Anhui) China. He has an academic background in Environmental Geochemistry & Pollution combined with a practical work experience in Biochar Science. His research interests include Soil and Water Remediation, Transformation Mechanism and Fate of Environmental Contaminants, Minerals Interaction with Environmental Contaminants, Green Synthesis, Biowaste Conversion, Bioenergy and Environmental Pollution Control. He is particularly interested in how “modifications and advancements in pyrolyzed feed materials affect the product characteristics during thermochemical conversion and/or its Environmental Applications.”
Xinming Zhang received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2001. Since Mar. 2002, he has been with the faculty of the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, where he is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Technology, also with the School of Data Science. He is also with the National Mobile Communications Research Laboratory, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. From Sept. 2005 to Aug. 2006, he was a visiting Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejeon, Korea.
Jun Zheng received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), Chengdu, China. She is currently an Associate Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Traction Power of SWJTU in Chengdu, China. She was awarded the Endeavour Research Fellowship of Australian Government as a Visiting Honorary Fellow at the University of Wollongong in 2013. Her research focuses on high temperature superconducting electromagnetic characteristics, HTS magnet and superconducting magnetic levitation technology. Up to now, she has authored or co-authored 106 SCI-indexed papers and granted 15 Chinese patents.
Dr. Xiaotao Zhu received a PhD degree in Material Science from the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Environmental and Material Engineering, Yantai University, China. His research interests include Non-wettable surfaces and their applications for self-cleaning, anti-corrosion, and oil-water separation. Moreover, he has published several articles in well-reputed national/international journals. Dr Zhu has also received awards such as Outstanding President Award by Chinese Academy of Science and Zhuliyuehua Award by Chinese Academy of Science.
Dr. Chunwei Zhang currently works at Qingdao University of Technology (QUT). He is the Chair Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, and Discipline Leader of Civil Engineering at QUT. He is the Foundation Director of Structural Vibration Control group, Chair Professor of “first-class discipline: Civil Engineering” for Shandong Province. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2005 from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). His research interest includes structural vibration control, structural health monitoring, prefabricated structures, structural anti-blast, and protective structures, etc. He has supervised and co-supervised 11 Ph.D. students and 27 master students to their successful completion. He has published six books, one book chapter, and five design codes and standards. He has delivered five keynote lectures at international conferences. Dr. Zhang is the author or co-author of 136 Journal publications (majority in SCI or EI indexed journals) and more than 80 conference publications. Besides, he is the owner of 25 patents.
Cui Junjia is an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Hunan University. He is a key member of the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Design and Manufacturing for Vehicle Body. Prof Cui's main research direction is the design and manufacture of the lightweight vehicle body. He hosted several important research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National Key Research and Development Project, Hunan Provincial Key Research and Development Project and Hunan Provincial Outstanding Youth Science Foundation. So far, Prof. Cui has produced over 40 research papers.
Jianbing Gao obtained Ph.D from Beijing Institute of Technology on July 2017, then joined University of Surrey, as a postdoctor. From January 2019, he has been a postdoctor of University of Leeds. His research interests cover exhaust emission control of internal combustion engines; opposed rotary piston engine and physicochemical properties of particulate matter form internal combustion engine.
Prof. Jiang GUO is currently a professor at the Dalian University of Technology (DUT). He received his Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo in 2013. After graduation, he joined RIKEN as a researcher. In October 2015, he became a scientist in A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology, and Research). He has been actively involved in precision machining related research for over a decade. His research interests include ultraprecision machining, polishing, actuator, mechatronics, and neutron optics. He has published more than 30 journal papers in the top journals in mechanical engineering and holds several patents. His research work was highlighted in A*STAR Research. He received several fundings and awards. He has been the session chair for several conferences and reviewer for over 30 SCI journals.
Professor He explores the boundaries of materials processing technology, solid mechanics, and material microscopy, in order to provide game-changing manufacturing solutions to high-performance challenges. Ji does research in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Materials Engineering. His group at SJTU mainly focuses on: developing new material testing methods and precise material models for mechanical properties; employing these methods to improve the physical understanding of the plastic deformation, damage and necking failure, phase transformation from the Micro to Macro mechanisms; creating new manufacturing processes design based on this improved understanding.
Ph.D Liyong Ma is currently an Associate Professor at Harbin Institute of Technology, Weihai, China. His main research areas include machine learning, intelligent information processing, biomedical imaging and image processing. In recent years, more than 30 papers have been published, of which more than 20 articles have been retrieved by EI and SCI.
Dr. Yanbing Qi is an associate professor at the College of Natural Resources and Environment, Northwest A&F University. He received his Ph.D. from Northwest A&F University, Yangling Shaanxi, China. He has ever been a Post Doctor in the Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Science. His main research interests include remote sensing-based natural resources and environment monitoring and evaluation, soil process modeling and classification, desertification and revegetation assessment. Dr. Qi has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in renowned journals.
Dr. SHEN Wenai is an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (China). He received his Ph.D. degree in Structural Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal papers and conference papers. His major research interests include structural vibration control, smart materials and structures, and energy harvesting.
Dr. Bindeshwar Singh obtained his Ph.D. degree in 2017 from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, India. Dr. Singh is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur, India. His research interests lie in the areas of Power System Modeling, Power System Optimizations, Smart Grids with Renewable Energy Technologies, Power System Load Fore-Costing, Power System Restructuring/Deregulation, Optimal Power Dispatch and Security Analysis, etc. Dr. Singh, as an author / co-author, has published more than 30 manuscripts in various journals of international repute, accumulating more than 555 citations.
Yaguang Zhu, Associate Professor of Chang’an University, China. He obtained Ph.D. in mechatronic engineering at Zhejiang University, China. His research interests include robotics, robot navigation, Behavior Control and Neural Control. He has been PI of 13 different projects on robot and control systems, and participated in 12 other projects. He published over 40 articles and got 18 patents. He is selected as " Young Scholar of Chang’an " at Chang' an University in 2018. He is founder and head of Biomimetics & Collaborative Robotics Lab and is also the Co-PI of Advanced Control and Robotics Institute, Chang’an University, China.
Dr. Yuansheng Zhou (周元生) is an associate professor of Central South University (CSU), Changsha, Hunan, and the Vice-Director of Department of Vehicle Engineering, College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in CSU. He also works as a senior member of the gear research group in State Key Laboratory of High Performance Complex Manufacturing. He obtained his Ph.D. degree of Mechanical Engineering from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, in 2015. His research topic includes Gear Design and Manufacturing, CAD/CAM/CAE, CNC Machining, Measurement, CNC Machine Tools.
