Dr. Jianhui Huang obtained his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of York, UK under the guidance of Professor Peter A. O’Brien in 2006. He then moved to the University of Sheffield/GSK for a postdoctoral study before starting his independent research in 2010, he joined the faculty as an Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in the School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology at Tianjin University. He has been a full Professor since 2017. The research in the Huang group covers medicinal chemistry, semi-synthesis as well as synthetic methodology development. Professor Huang has authored over 50 publications and received the “Thieme Chemistry Journal Award” in 2017.

He is also serving as a director of Key Laboratory of Natural Resource (Changbai Mountain) and Functional Molecular (Yanbian University), Ministry of Education, China.

Dr. Sonil Nanda is a Research Associate in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Western Ontario in London. He completed his Ph.D. from York University Toronto. He has been working as a postdoctoral fellow at premier Canadian Universities including York University, the University of Saskatchewan, and the University of Western Ontario for the last six years. His research areas are in the production of advanced Biofuels and Biochemicals from organic wastes and renewable biomass through gasification, pyrolysis and fermentation involving green catalysis and environmental friendly processes. He has published more than 60 research papers.

Prof. Ameta has occupied the coveted position of President, Indian Chemical Society, Kotkata (2000-2001) and is now lifelong Advisor (2002-continue). He is also reviewer of number of International Journals. Prof. Ameta has an experience of around 48 years of Teaching and Research.

After that, he joined Francesco Ciucci’s group at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in 2013. He joined Jinan University as an Associate Professor in 2015. His current research is focused on advanced electrocatalytic materials for electrochemical energy storage and conversion devices.

Dr. Shou-Nian Ding is full Professor and PhD supervisor in School of chemistry and Chemical engineering, Southeast University, PR China. He worked as a postdoc in electrochemistry in DCM of Joseph Fourier University of Grenoble (France) in 2007- 2009. He has been engaged in the research work of nanomaterials and electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensors for more than ten years. By revealing new ECL mechanism, synthesizing novel ECL probe, and preparing enhanced ECL devices, his work provides the basic research for the development of novel solid-state ECL detector, biological sensor technology, and ECL imaging technology and promotes the application of new ECL device in medical detection and biochemical analysis. He has already published more than 80 academic papers in Anal.Chem. ACS Sensors, Commun. Chem., Bioelectron. Biosens., Chem. Eur. J., and other famous international journals. He has hosted tens of research projects from Ministry of Science and Technology of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Natural Science Foundation and etc. In light of the achievements made in the field of ECL sensor research, he was awarded Gilles Kahn Prize in 2012 from FFCSA. In 2016, he was appointed as young academic leader of Jiangsu province.

Dr. Josef Jampilek completed his PhD degree in Medicinal Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Charles University (Czech Republic) in 2004. In 2004-2011, he worked in expert and managerial posts in the R&D Division of the pharmaceutical company Zentiva (Czech Republic). Prof. Jampilek deepened his professional knowledge at the Medicinal Chemistry Institute of the Heidelberg University (Germany) and at multiple specialized courses. In 2009, he became an Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno (Czech Republic). In 2017, he was designated as a Full Professor of Medicinal Chemistry by the President of the Slovak Republic. Prof. Jampilek has been working for several entities in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. He is an author/co-author of more than 30 patents/patent applications, almost 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications, 7 university textbooks, 20 chapters in monographs, and many invited lectures at international conferences and workshops. He also received several awards for his scientific results, e.g., from Aventis, Elsevier, Willey, Sanofi, and FDA. Prof. Josef Jampilek obtained M.Sc. degree(Pharmacy) and PhD(Medicinal Chemistry) in 2000 and 2004 respectively.

After that, he worked in the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University to continue his academic career. Now, he is a professor at materials science and engineering of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. His current research interests are focused on: (1) design and preparation polymer-based microneedles for transdermal delivery of drugs, (2) Preparation of smart composite films, hydrogels and bio-adhesive materials for wound closure, (3) preparation of high- performance electronic materials for supercapacitors.

After a 2-year postdoctoral research at Wuhan University, Dr. Ma returned to the Institute of Chemistry, CAS, where in 1999, he was promoted to full professor. He was granted a research fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and worked at Bremen University in Germany (1996-1997). In 2005, he was granted a research fund for Outstanding Young Scientists from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Ma won the 1st prize from China Association for Instrumental Analysis. He has contributed more than 200 journal articles as well as 20 book chapters and reviews. Dr. Ma has been an invited lecturer at numerous national and international meetings, and is a member of the Editorial Board of several chemical and biological journals. His research interests focus on the design and synthesis of new spectroscopic probes and their analytical applications; bio spectroscopy and selective detection.

Dr. Zeng is currently working as a Professor in the College of Chemistry at Sichuan University.
