摘要
致病细菌的抗生素抗性的增加导致开发抑制生物膜形成以及干扰群体感应(QS)信号系统的新治疗方法。 QS系统是致病细菌产生信号分子的现象,所述信号分子参与细胞与细胞的通信,毒力因子的产生,生物膜成熟以及若干其他功能。在自然环境中,几种非致病细菌作为混合种群与病原菌一起存在,并且它们通过产生次级代谢物来控制微生物群落的行为。类似地,非致病性细菌还利用QS信号传导分子作为通过酶分解代谢而生长的唯一碳源。细菌产生几种酶,它们通过降解细胞外聚合物(EPS)如外多糖,细胞外DNA和蛋白质的组成来破坏生物膜结构。因此,QS系统对细菌代谢产物和酶促催化的干扰,QS信号分子的修饰以及生物膜结构的酶促破坏已被认为是替代治疗方法。这篇综述文章详细阐述了不同细菌种类在代谢产物以及酶及其分子作用方式上的多样性。细菌酶和代谢产物将为开发针对致病性细菌感染的策略开辟新的和有希望的观点。
