摘要
HIV-1反式激Tat 蛋白在艾滋病的发病机制中起着关键的作用。TAT除了作为HIV-1转录激活因子,它对感染和未感染HIV的细胞中发挥着重要的作用。事实上,HIV-1 Tat是由被HIV感染的细胞释放并被邻近细胞取代。这样可以调节病毒和细胞基因的表达,和调节导致HIV-1感染传播和免疫失调的细胞途径。因此,以Tat为靶点的Tat蛋白和细胞途径可能是新的抗HIV治疗方法和疫苗开发的新靶点。

摘要: The HIV-1 transactivator Tat protein plays a key role in AIDS pathogenesis. Besides the Tat role as activator of HIV-1 transcription, it exerts several important functions on infected and uninfected cells. In fact, HIV-1 Tat is released by infected cells and is taken up by neighboring cells. In this way it regulates expression of viral and cellular genes and it modulates several cellular pathways leading to HIV-1 infection spreading and immune dysregulation. So far, Tat protein and the cellular pathways targeted by Tat may represent potential targets for new anti-HIV therapeutic approaches and vaccine development against AIDS.
