Abstract
Contrary to the Classical Greek poet Archilochus phrase “The fox knows many things but the hedgehog knows one big thing”, the Hedgehog (HH) signaling pathway knows at least 3 ways to promote or support carcinogenesis. In this review, we provide a summary of the HH signaling pathway, and detail the clinical relevance and treatment of patients. Finally, future directions in exploiting this promising pathway will be addressed.
