Abstract
There is increasing evidence that endothelial dysfunction is an independent predictor of outcome in cardiovascular disease. Therefore, the identification of therapeutic strategies enhancing endothelial function might provide salutary effects on the cardiovascular system. This review examines the role of the B-vitamin folic acid in modulating endothelial function.
