Abstract
The special properties of ionic liquids (ILs) make them versatile solvents and functional materials in many applications. In this paper, we concentrated on discussion of our recent work about the applications of ILs as the solvents and/or catalysts for chemical reactions, and in catalyst design and material fabrication.
